It was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them. For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering. Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite. Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

We were let down by this hotel. We arranged a late check out which wasn’t provided for. There was a half drunk bottle of wine int he fridge, the red wine was in the fridge and the beer had a puncture in it. There were also building works going on from early in the morning. Not great.

Pros: A regular hotel located on Old Bakery Street in the old town of Valletta. The hotel itself is a renovation of an old house, so it is very retro; the rooms and the hotel are very clean, and the service staff are very friendly. It is very quiet at night and not noisy. The roof of the hotel is a public area with a swimming pool, a restaurant bar, and a view of the sea. Cons: We booked a room with a balcony, but in fact, the room was only a protruding window; there are no convenience stores or supermarkets near the hotel; the room is a bit crowded, which is not consistent with the pictures, and there are several stairs when you enter the door.

Clean, large room, exquisite service and central and quiet location

Very nice and refined hotel. Very comfortable and quiet room. Exceptional breakfast.
