I would suggest that they eliminate the old, worn carpet in rooms and do LVP or tile floors. Room could use another chair or loveseat.

From the moment I walked into the lobby I was really impressed the lobby is stunningly furnished. My check-in was speedy, and I was happy to see a pantry to buy snacks for the room. Being from out of state I was more excited to the In and Out burger chain across the street.
The room was gorgeous, it looked far more expensive than the rate I paid.
We were close to the beach and the downtown restaurants, the location was perfect.
The beds were really comfortable and very nicely furnished.

I read this property at ocean views. It’s why I chose it. No ocean view. Our view was the parking lot. When we entered the room, there was a bad smell. I opened the windows to air it out. The staff were lovely and we were given a larger room as our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. When we requested an extra blanket, it came but it was very thin.

Ok place, staff very friendly but honestly seems like it would make more sense as an airport hotel in Atlanta than a beachside Hotel in CA. Pool fine but nothing special.. no character at all..a little overpriced too for what it is IMHO.
