Mazarine Hotel

Everything about this place was, no, sorry is outstanding. It was one of the best services I've had and fantastic experience. On the first day of arriving, I was treated by a member of staff. I literally booked another stay at Mazarine Hotel for October. That's how amazed I was. The room was fantastic with great views of the sea. Helpful staff The food was excellent Facilities A plus, if I could give a better rating, I would. Highly recommended. Make sure you rent a car, tho, as the hotel is in a lovely quiant area. 15 minutes drive to Vlorê. Make sure you visit the monestry also, fantastic views. All in all, the best hotel stay at the Mazarine Hotel. I'll see you back in October. Thank you Will Lindsay

This was my first time in Albania, and we chose this place to stay. Skeptical at first but after the first hour, it felt like home. The staff was so attentive and made you feel very welcome. Front desk made sure your whole stay as perfect. The food was outstanding, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chef is top notch and that’s no joke. The pool got a great view and it’s a 2 second walk to go to the beach! I recommend everyone to stay here or at least come eat at the restaurant.

We can't wait to come back! Perfect place to relax, enjoying the beatiful sea, the quiet of the room, the infinity pool, the rich breakfast, the offer of the restaurant and, last but not the least, all the friendly and helpful staff. So sad we had to leave...

We visited the Albanian coast with friends and were looking for a quiet place to spend a few nights. The Mazarine Hotel was just what we were looking for. The rooms are modern, clean and we had a lovely experience. They provide a delicious breakfast and we actually ate lunch there as well...the food was that good. Their pool provides a view of the water and there are complimentary chairs across the street at the beach. Another bonus is that the owner is onsite and available to help & answer any questions that might arise. We would definitely stay here again!

So pleased we chose the Mazarine Hotel for our first visit to Albania. We were genuinely excited when we first arrived as the hotel is beautiful. We had a wonderful warm welcome. The hotel has some good restaurants nearby but a lot of them were closed due to it being late in the season so we had luckily hired a car. The hotel restaurant is great and very stylish. Good food and breakfast! I can also recommend the massages! The spa area was still under construction but looked like it was going to be fabulous once finished. The beach is a little neglected and could be much better. We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend the lovely hotel and its wonderful staff.

The hotel is new - it opened only last year, therefore it is very modern. I had the suite 401, very nice. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in, in a very long time. When the curtains were drawn, I could see the sea! Plenty of space inside. Balcony view is amazing, especially the sunsets. Breakfast is served as buffet with same things every day, but with enough items to make different combinations daily. The restaurant meals are nicely presented and very tasty. For example, tagliatelle with salmon and avocado; salmon fillet with asparagus and Belgian potatoes; entrecote; chicken breast with Belgian potatoes; tiramisu with pistacchio cream; cheesecake with passion fruit; chocolate mousse, etc. The pool is nice but I did not use it as I prefer the sea. The beach is across the street, to the left of the hotel. Sunbeds are free. Now the best part of this hotel is the owner, Bella, and the masseuse, Anisa. All other staff are also super nice and friendly. Let me give some examples of Bella's outstanding customer service. As I have some mobility issues, she was always asking me how I was, if I was in pain, if I needed help or if I needed anything. When the soles of my flip flops opened, she got the super glue to stick the soles back on. She offered to get me a new pair from the town. She even sent someone to get me something from the pharmacy, twice. I have also seen her dealing with other clients, always with patience and a smile. I felt as if she had motherly concern for her clients. Many visitors like to take a photo with her before they leave. The hotel offers beach towels, just ask for them. This is convenient because towels can occupy a lot of space in a suitcase. Anisa's massages really helped me and my legs were much better, my mobility, and my overall feeling had improved greatly. What a nice, wholesome, angelic person. I would also like to mention Samantha from the reception, the waiter Vullinet who went above and beyond, the super nice cleaning lady who spoke no English but we understood each other somehow - she had such a nice smile. While you may find more modern hotels similar to this one in terms of appearance, you will probably not find such customer service, as it is here. Bella is an angel in a woman's body, a lady with a heart of gold. I would definitely come back. For a restful and peaceful holiday, this is great. If you want to explore other beaches or towns, you need a car. The hotel has a parking lot. A small supermarket is 500 meters away, left of the hotel. A super nice pizza place, Stella, is 700 meters away, right of the hotel. Just be careful about the street. All in all - a modern hotel with excellent staff and first class customer care, proximity of the sea, beautiful sunsets, beautiful view of the sea - even from the bed, great massages, and really nice food. Clean and modern hotel . Small and boutique as it claimed. Staff were friendly and helpful , would be good if they wore name badges or we identifiable as staff . Rooms were spacious and airy , Mountain View however was a car park view! Breakfast was varied but the same every day . Was able to request a variety of coffees Very small pool and so few sun beds , people laid claim to them before breakfast which was very unfair as they were not sitting in them . Didn’t manage to use the pool once as we were unable to find a spot to sit, even at 8.30 am .

All staff at the hotel were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Clean and modern hotel. Although it says it is a 5* hotel, the lack of amenities and inconsistency of the rooms makes it a 4* in my opinion. We booked 2 rooms and they did not have the same such as tea and coffee, chairs or slippers. Breakfast was good with a wide range of options. Cutting the rolls in half, no toast making facilities and not having a cooking station let it down a bit. The main pitfall was the sunbeds. There were only 10 beds available for 48 rooms, which meant that before breakfast started, all beds had been taken up by towels or personal items to reserve them. Staff did not take the towels or items away, so we never got to use the pool. Luckily for us, we had a car but as the hotel is in Radhime and not in Vlore, anybody who does not have a car can only use either the swimming pool area or the dedicated part on the pebbled beach. Food at the restaurant was disappointing as a medium steak was cooked within an inch of its life as it was left and forgotten qbout. They did make a new one, which was better. Only 3 choices for desserts, no baklava, was also disappointing. Name tags for staff is also a recommendation as you can then give a shout out to staff in particular.

We ate here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (we stayed at the hotel) and were so well taken care of. The staff are so accommodating and thoughtful. We didn’t want our meals to end. The food is fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful. An unforgettable culinary experience.
