There is no swimming pool, the service is average, the domestic orange hotel level. Do not order breakfast online. On the edge of the viaduct, not recommended.

I’ve never been to a hotel where the hospitality and customer services were higher than the sky itself! I was greeted at the door, brought up to the room, and a lovely maid came in every three hours to see if I like the towels to be replaced. I told them that I was good for the rest of the week, but she came back with a water bottle with chocolates. Such a sweetie! I really enjoyed the customer service and the attention that we have received at the hotel. I was able to walk around in the neighborhood and meet some of my friends. The bed was amazing, I loved the bath, and the toiletries that came with the room. There is no question that I am coming back, believe it or not

Unbelievable that given Marriot was founded by Mormons that they charge $50 for you not to have alcohol in the room. This is absolutely absurd and promote alcoholism. I stay over 120 nights a year in Marriot and have never heard of an absurd policy like this. Brett, the manager on duty was totally rude and un understanding and really needs to be retrained in customer service, especially around former alcoholics. I hope he feels good if he contributes the death of people through drunk driving through his policy.

The Ritz never fails to when it comes to luxury accommodations and a staff that meets your every needs. I had the opportunity to visit this hotel and the staff was so kind and attentive. In addition the room was well appointment and comfortable. Also a great location close to dining and Foggy Bottom!

Overall it was a good hotel, the staff were courteous and there for you to help. The room was spacious. I only had one issue on lack of calrity about breakfast situation. I got the breakfast included option and when I got there they said it covers up to $60. When I got the bill later they charged me full amount, so I called and they said it only covers up to $30 and they would fix it. Lack of consistency and clarity is the reason I give them 4 stars and not 5

I came here for a deep tissue massage and got an okay massage that was not a deep tissue. I had specifically asked for a therapist who could provide a high level of pressure, so not getting that was disappointing. Another bizarre thing was that the spa attendant had laced all the water with flavor packs which was absolutely disgusting. Our therapists kept giving us water, and we had to keep pouring it out. I complained about this, but the attendant insisted because she was adding a naturally derived sweetener, it was okay. It was not okay. Don't do this.

Perfect location for visiting our family in Georgetown. Have stayed here a number of times now and the service, friendliness and professionalism showed by everyone from the door man to the general manger and everyone in between is exemplary. We would return and recommend without hesitation.

To celebrate our anniversary we were not able to travel this year, so we had a staycation at the Ritz Carlton in Georgetown. The hotel is hiding in plain site. The brick theme from outside continues inside. The accomodations were luxurious from the furniture to the bed to the huge bathroom. The casual restaurant had great food with very friendly staff. The location in Georgetown was my a short walk from dining, shopping and entertainment. Luxury costs but we felt it was worth it considering we had not flown anywhere this year.

We stayed here one night to visit Georgetown University. The location of the hotel is perfect. 20 mins walking distance to the school. We are a Platinum member and since our appointment was 10:30am. We requested a late check out at 3pm with no problem. The room is very clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, we have an EV car. They charged for us so when we are ready to leave the next day, it was 100% charged. The experience of staying here was exceptional and we would definitely stay again next time in town!

This property has aged incredibly well! It is as current and dynamic today as it was when it opened. Great staff and service - exactly what is expected when booking a Ritz Carlton property. The location is convenient and the hotel is highly recommended.

Hotel is very run down. Sine ply toilet paper. Torn lamp in our room. Front entry way had empty glasses and paper cups (trash) and no one picked them up!. Very Disappointing! I have always liked Ritz Carltons. They have definitely lowered their standards. Will Not be back here!

This hotel is straight out of the ‘90s. The rooms and lobby seemingly don’t appear to have been updated at all. They are old, dark and overlook a “courtyard” which is just a small patch of overgrown grass that lies between your room and the building on the other side. This means you have to keep your curtains shut for privacy. The lighting is poor, the furnishings are minimal and appear to be very cheap; and the service was… During peak hours guest services took 5-10 minutes to answer the phone, then left us on hold for another 10 minutes. The only good thing about this hotel were the pillows.
