The Lyle was very welcoming. The check-in was top notch. Bar area cozy. Room was tastefully furnished and comfortable for our weekend stay. Would stay here again.

This place was highly rated, so I was excited to stay here but it wasn't great at all. It's overpriced for no reason. The best service was my first night there the 2 valets who helped me with my car and another who brought my belongings upstairs. Other than that, I had to wait 1+hrs for ice as there is no machine. I paid additional for a kitchenette, and they have no microwave. The sheets smelled very bad, and I had to douse them with perfume. The bathroom also had a funny odor. My remote didn't work to try and order food and I was given a replacement that also ended up not working. I placed my card out the first night for breakfast and it wasn't picked up, but fine I went down both days to get my food. I prepaid for breakfast for both days and was still charged and called x2 and on the 2nd day I was helped and have only been refunded for 1 additional charge even though we agreed I would be refunded for 2. I won't bother to call again because it's not worth the hassle. I come to DC a lot for trips, and I usually love my stays. This was the first time in a long time I was highly disappointed. It just really wasn't worth it. I would never stay here again.

From the moment we walked into the room, we were impressed with all the little details, and it did not have the feel of a standard hotel room. Lots of space to hang out, and thoughtful touches, such as the reusable bag for shopping. Pleasant artwork in the room and halls. Staff was attentive at check in, at the restaurant, and with a minor mechanical issue we had. Would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lyle DC hotel. The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. Our room was beautiful and housekeeping was prompt every day, we’ve never had such a positive housekeeping experience! The hotel restaurant was delicious and a great option to have, to not venture out in the cold. The hotel is in a great central location for transit, walking or ride share services. We enjoyed the hotel’s gym, and drawing room to sit with family outside of the room itself. Everything was 10/10, would definitely recommend and will definitely return! Kevin at the guest services/lobby was the best of the best, his customer service alone will make us return guests! Thank you for a wonderful experience and great visit to DC!
