Perfect platform for events: quiet, far from Frankfurter-Trubels! In February 2024, we held a business deal with 40 people at Dorint Hotel Bad Vilbel. This was a day and evening event. The whole settlement in the forefront, with detail wishes from me to the event day - was compulsory, timely and professional. You always had the look for the feasible. The meeting room is bright and what you need for technology - completely enough. Depending on the size of the event, you should book the external technology offered by the hotel. The welcome lunch in the bar area was creative and very tasteful in the presentation. You have received special wishes in the forefront regarding intolerance / allergies and was considered by the kitchen team. For the evening we had had a ”side event” on the beautiful, quiet terrace. Also here, the detailed arrangements with another service provider were uncomplicated and professional. A oighear track with winter cabin magic was a successful team event. The dinner in the adjacent brasserie had a high level. No trace of ”pure banket kitchen”. What is the team of Mr. Jonas Graf (restaurant manager for us Sommelier ) on the table, looking for the same. The whole service team, was careful, quick and very friendly. There is nothing ”from the bar”. The bar was as professional - the ”joys behind the bar” knew what to do! Huge hotel set in woodland. Conference going on had great trouble getting parked. Once parked you walk down a slope to the hotel. Disabled parking beside normal parking but blocked by a skip. Strange room. No TV reception. No fridge. There was an air con machine but it was so noisy to use. In the bathroom there was no place to put shampoo, body wash etc except on the base of the shower. The shower flooded and water ran under the door but obviously not a new problem as bottom of the door was warped. Had to use towels on the floor to avoid slipping. No good when you have mobility issues and are older. Not much personality from reception staff. No information volunteered re restaurant etc. There appeared to be some kind of buffet containers outside all containing food and open to the flies but nobody about. The town is around 2 mins away once you leave the hotel where we chose to eat in a lovely Vietnamese restaurant. Fantastic meal. Breakfast. Such a long walk along corridor once you leave the lift. Buffet was good with a varied selection. Well staffed and clean tables.
