A historic place to stay inn! It was nice experience. The breakfast was very nice! The location is perfect, close to the city centre and all historic places.

This was my 3rd stay at this inn. The inn is clean, homey, and friendly! The staff, the guests, the vibe, the location (proximity to William & Mary, and Colonial Williamsburg), and the food are AWESOME! It definitely feels like going to stay with good friends. This place is my favorite in Williamsburg and I will be staying there again for sure! Having said that, the inn does need some renovation. It is an old house, and it comes with some issues that tend to plague older homes. The beds and pillows are adequate but could be more comfortable (esp. for people with bad backs/necks). The space in the rooms is a little tight (shelving for toiletries in the bathrooms, a hair dryer, maybe fewer knick knacks - as charming as they are - would help). We had our anniversary weekend there. We loved it! It was perfect.

We stayed here for W&M Family Weekend 2025. Parking was super easy - right behind the Inn. It's a short walk to W&M which meant we could leave the car at the Inn and not have to worry about parking at Family Weekend on Saturday when there was limited on campus parking due to the football game and parents. The morning breakfast was good, room was quiet and comfortable and reasonably priced. Would stay here again.

We came from 5 states as my family of 11 arrived at this lovely home to find the most exquisite accommodations. A vacation gift from me to my kids brought rave reviews from everyone. Each bedroom suite or room was very private, beds very comfortable and each had its own bathroom and TV. Some rooms are totally shut off from others yet opened to the large dining room where we all gathered each morning at 8:30 for a buffet breakfast with an array of eggs, fruit, bacon, sausage, biscuits coffee cake and much more. The home has 2 living rooms with ample seating in each. You could participate in lively conversation in one or watch sports events in the other. This gave my adult children much to discuss as we rarely gather like this. I highly recommend renting the entire house for family or a friend's gathering because in addition to all I've said, the location was the best...within walking distance to so much Williamsburg has to offer. Delicious breakfast & great location

This is the best BnB we ever experienced. The checkin was simple, our room was huge, the hostess made a fresh breakfast, the fridge was well stocked with any beverage imaginable, and it is walking distance to W&M and CW. Also, the furnishings were so well done that we felt like we went back to the 1770's full experience. Highly recommend this BnB if you plan to stay over in Williamsburg.

We spent four days in the Jefferson Suite. The home and suite were beautifully decorated in colonial style. My husband and I shared the bedroom which included a sitting area and a gas fireplace. Our son slept on a trundle bed. There was a door that we could leave open or closed between the two rooms. The bathroom was very clean. We enjoyed a hot breakfast every morning. The baked goods, porridge and crumble were excellent! The Inn provided a parking pass so we were able to park in front of the Inn. The location was easily walkable to Colonial Williamsburg. We would definitely stay again. It was a great place to return to after sight seeing.
