We loved it here despite the shocking winter weather! The fire was easily lit and made for a cozy warm atmosphere, and the views out to the sea while enjoying a coffee in bed (so comfortable) in the morning was much appreciated. Host Bryan was around and available to provide whatever was needed but was not intrusive. The cottage itself was gorgeous and we liked the feeling of privacy (cottage 2). We enjoyed pottering around the rocks down at the beach while watching the waves rolling in. What an amazing part of the world and with great accommodation and hospitality we didn't feel like we could ask for much more! We will be back for sure...Anne & David

Luxury cottages secluded in bush land next to the ocean, this is a wonderful place for complete relaxation & rest. Huge comfortable bed with views to the ocean, falling asleep to the sound of the waves! The window seat is perfect for an afternoon read or glass of wine. The balcony is an alfresco dining area with a Weber bbq for cooking up a delicious meal with views of the ocean forever!!

Wow! What a serene, beautiful and comfortable cottage! The ocean view is breathtaking and the location is perfect. Owner, Bryan was very responsive by email and provided us with a warm welcome and very helpful suggestions upon our arrival. We were so sorry to leave after only 2 nights.

The accommodation is great. It is very clean and has terrific views. Has everything you need and is an ideal get away. It is close enough to Apollo Bay to enjoy the restaurants. Bryan and Joan are excellent hosts and very helpful. It is an ideal location all year round

The view from Cottage 3 was spectacular, we loved looking at the ocean straight in front of the cottage and watching the sheep in the paddocks to the right of the cottage. The welcome hamper was greatly appreciated, we will definitely return.

Our just Bryan was just superb. With lots of helpful hints and advice. He made the whole experience simply wonderful. Just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. The apartment is well furnished and stocked and maintained to the highest standards. Amazing views but set sufficiently far back to have privacy and quiet. It was the ideal spot for us to base ourselves to explore the Great Ocean Road and its surrounds

The most amazing accomodation right on the great ocean road! Beautifully presented with everything you could need for a relaxing luxurious stay. Well equipped kitchen with bbq on the balcony for meals to the sound, & views, of the crashing ocean. Comfortable bed with luxury linens for a peaceful nights sleep. All this only minutes from Apollo Bay & all that the Great Ocean Road has to offer. We love these cottages & highly recommend for a truely unique experience of the wild southern ocean…you may even see a koala!

Just three cottages, we had number 1, tucked away just above the Great Ocean Road just a few kilometres East of Apollo Bay. Easy to find. Superbly equipped cottage with covered verandah. The internal window seat is an ideal spot to lie back and watch the waves and the world go by. Be prepared for the steep start to the driveway straight off the Great Ocean Road. It’s not a problem but first time when you’re not sure what to expect it can catch you out. The cottages are really well appointed with all you require. No oven but a gas barbecue on the verandah and microwave in the kitchen. Take a walk further up the drive at dusk to hopefully see koalas in the trees. We went both nights we stayed and saw one each time. Magical experience.

Very cozy luxury cottage well equipped with stunning ocean views. Brian is a great helpful and friendly host who gave us many good ideas for sightseeing and restaurants. Highly recommended accommodation. 10 minutes drive from Apollo Bay.

From the moment you enter the driveway to the moment you step into your cottage nothing is out of place. The cottage itself (cottage #2 for us) was inviting and cosy with georgeous unobstructed views of the ocean and a generous welcome gift from the owners. Everything you could want, and more, is supplied - it is like being in a home away from home. Nothing has been overlooked. Bryan is a friendly and welcoming host and full of information about attractions in the region and recommendations of places to eat. The weather was up and down during our stay (sun, wind, rain, hail, thunder and numerous rainbows) however that didn't ruin our stay or stop us from attending several attractions. Points South By The Sea is perfectly located, not too far out from Apollo Bay but far enough for relaxation, complete privacy and absolute peacefulness. Enjoying a movie with a glass of wine by the fireplace is just bliss. It was so easy falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and, at times, rain instead of the usual traffic and barking dogs back at home. After not having a getaway for quite a few years we are thrilled to have found Points. However 2 nights just wasn't enough for us. We will definitely be back again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Thank you Bryan & Joan for a wonderful stay.

We had the blue cabin and it was lovely. Sitting out on the deck in the mornings having breakfast was such a delight even when it was 13 degrees. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin had everything you needed. The location overlooking the coastline is fantastic and the sound of the ocean at night was wonderful. The only negative for me was the fly screens were very dirty.

We had a great time at the Cottage. The view and the falling asleep to the waves were exactly what the doctor ordered. With such a good location to local sights we will be back. To be honest i am a bit disappointed to be back in my own bed tonight.

We love the views and the accommodation and have been coming here for the last nine years. Bryan and Joan are fabulous hosts and always go the extra mile for their guests. So much to see and do in the area from the Otway Fly to Chris on the Beacons restaurant. Wonderful view of the great ocean road and the sounds of the waves. We will be back again next year as usual!

I spent a week in cottage 1, in mid July, I absolutely LOVED it. The cottage had everything that you may need and more. I do love an oven, but this time I did NOT miss it, if I was desperate, the BBQ would have worked beautifully. The goodie bags, Bryan and Joan supplied were a delight. Plus an extra surprise, a delicious birthday cake. Fabulous bed, beautiful bathroom, great heating and an ample supply of firewood. I did not walk any of the trails, in fact I didn’t go very far at all. I was after ocean views and the crashing of waves, that’s my escape. Points South by the Sea, did NOT disappoint. Bryan and Joan, what you have at Points South is stunning and will always have a VERY SPECIAL place in my heart ♥️
