The term “hotel” in its name is a bit of a misnomer. It may once have been a hotel, but it is really a small modest pension now. There is no reception, per se. When you check in, you go to the second floor and look at the white board for your name and room number. While there is someone present during breakfast, at other times not really. At a hotel you can usually leave your bags for a few hours between checkout and when you need them again, but that’s not a possibility here either. The establishment claims to provide in-room WiFi, but we had to go out into the hallway to use the WiFi; not convenient. On the plus side, our small room (#106) was clean, quite, and cheery, though the bathroom was small, even by European standards. The breakfast (additional charge) was typically German. There's an Italian restaurant on the ground floor.
