To be honest, the transportation, location and cleanliness of this hotel are pretty good, but it makes me sleepless and wake up to write a review. I am absolutely speechless.
I booked this hotel for 2 nights. Everything went smoothly. The hotel in the fifth-tier city of Xingyi was clean and the service was warm and acceptable. I couldn’t ask too much for other things. Later, due to changes in my itinerary, I extended my stay for another 2 nights. It was late, so the journey began.
On the third day, I applied for a room extension in the morning and continued to live in the original non-smoking room on the 31st floor. Within an hour, I received a call from the hotel saying that the water supply equipment on the 31st floor was faulty and asked me to move to the 26th floor, so I traveled across the mountains. After returning to the hotel exhausted, I packed my luggage and moved downstairs.
I stayed on the 26th floor and the hotel upgraded me to a suite. Although it was noisy next to the cleaning lady's tool room, at least it was a non-smoking room. It was better to tolerate less than to have more. After unpacking the luggage and putting the items away, it seemed like the toilet was broken and no water was flowing out, so I called customer service. After some communication, they explained that the water supply on the 26th floor was also broken, and we were told to wait 1-2 hours for it to be repaired.
So I went out to have dinner, and when I returned to the guest room at 9 o'clock, I found that there was still no water. I had to repack my luggage and change rooms, to the 21st floor. This time, the room was a few square feet larger, and it should have been upgraded. However, as soon as the room was opened, a strong smell of smoke hit my face. I took a child in kindergarten with me, and my family did not smoke for the sake of the child's health. Such a strong smell of smoke was very uncomfortable. I called the hotel to tell me that I was not satisfied with the room and asked to change it. The hotel replied that there were no non-smoking rooms. Oh no, all the rooms were occupied, so there was no possibility of changing the room. How about spraying some air freshener.
By this time it was already 10pm and we had to check in. I opened the window to let some air in, and found that the room was close to Jushan Road, the main road in the city. The traffic and noise were very noisy, and the bright LED lights of the Southwest International Hotel opposite caused serious light pollution. So I was in a dilemma. If I didn't open the window, the air would be bad and the smell of smoke would be harmful to my health. If I opened the window, it would be noisy and bright, which would affect my sleep. Even the curtains and linens smelled of cigarette smoke, and I was severely unwell. I was half asleep and my sleep quality was very poor. Before 5 o'clock, I smelled the smell of tobacco on the pillow and quilt and I couldn't fall asleep anymore (Xingyi is located in the southwest, and it's 6 o'clock in the morning in summer) Half daybreak).
An excellent hotel should have excellent hardware facilities and software services. We accept the hardware issues with a tolerant attitude and the specific situation of the city being located in the southwest. However, the hotel's adaptability and management level are really annoying. The tone is blunt, the attitude is not positive, and even the apology is pale.
