Logos Hotel in Yad Hashmona ★★★

"Excellent hotel! My wife and I stayed there on June 5th 24. This is a second for us, previous time it was called Yad Hashmona, the name Logos is new but the hotel is the same. the room was spacious and very clean. The porch had view to the mountains. Fun to sit there. The staff were helpful. On Thursdays they have brunch instead of breakfast, it was another plus. The food was high quality, warm, cold, salads, desserts. What I think was nice and unusual is that they keep the window tables reserved for the hotel guests (others non-guests pay for the brunch). Overall an excellent experience."

"This hotel claims that they have a spa, with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas etc. That's not accurate. The spa is independent of the hotel. While you can access the spa, the spa's employees look at hotel guests unkindly, as most of the spa's clients are people from the local villages nearby, who are loudly shouting in the hallway and showers. Whenever you need something in the spa, like shower gel, which they appear to not have in the showers there, they ask you "are you a hotel guest?" and when you say "yes" they laugh. There are simple lockers for your belongings but according to the spa manager, hotel guests can't borrow a lock, so you're supposed to bring one from home. The showers are in a rundown state; they look like the kind of showers you'd find in a youth hostel. Because the spa is operated by an external company, the guests are responsible to bring back used towels from the spa to the hotel. Also, in the evenings, the hotel guests need to vacate the spa at an earlier hour than the spa clients. The hotel claims that it has 24/7 reception, but the receptionists who work in the evening apparently weren't trained on everything. I wanted to pay when I checked in but they told me they don't know how to work the credit card charging, so I should come back in the morning. They also sometimes don't answer the reception phone number if you call from your room. In my room, the control panel for the AC was dangling off the wall and I had to fiddle with it until it turned on. It worked, but it's weak. I visited in January, and while the AC was able to slightly warm the room, the room was still chilly in the evening. I booked a deluxe double room and there was no padded chair in the room, even though there was plenty of space to put one. It's the first time I see a hotel where there isn't a padded chair in a deluxe double room."

"We went for one night and it was okay in the beginning . There is a lounge from 13.00 until 22.00 with snacks , coffee etc. The next morning went for breakfast and at 10.30 a worker told us they are picking up the breakfast stuff and after a few minutes tells us to leave because they had to clean up . we did not finish the food and had to leave . After check out at about 13.10 e wanted to enter the lounge to rest before driving home because we had a long journey but were refused . After spending a lot of money for this stay we felt humiliated and was insulted . The hotel is nice but if they treat you so low that we feel like beggars it is not worth the money you pay and the value of what you get ."

"We recently spent a wonderful long weekend at Hotel Tzuba with our extended family, and it was absolutely fantastic. The location in the Judean Hills is beautiful, deeply relaxing, and incredibly kid-friendly. There was so much for the kids to do right on-site and nearby, including Kifzuba, the Galita chocolate workshop, the swimming pool, and plenty of open, grassy areas to run around and play. We want to give a massive thank you to the senior staff: Keren, Fawaz, Mazen, Youssef, and Angie for their incredible hospitality. They personally made sure our entire family was completely happy and that everything ran smoothly for us throughout our stay. If there were ever any minor glitches, they took care of them and fixed them right away with a smile. Their dedication to service is exceptional. "The place looks very nice, however I was provided a room with an adjoining door with guests in the room on the other side. The conversation of the guests on the other side was so clear, I could hear every word, and then hear them snoring - showing noise cancelation between rooms was negligible. Whilst close to the Old City, I wouldn't take a direct route at night, but take the bus or tram instead."
