Perfect spot to stay for our quick family night skiing trip to Appalachian. Will stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Only issue was whole first floor and rooms smelled like sulfur, and sheets were stained. Otherwise everything else seemed very clean, and breakfast was great!

The assistant manager (Alan Edwards) was a great person who worked his behind off to get everything working great. He was extremely short staff and was running the front desk as well as setting up the breakfast room and emptying trash. They are lucky to have him. The property needs some quality manager checking on the condition of rooms such as updating alarm clocks and making sure the drain system in bathtub works well. They need to make sure there are shampoo and soap filled up in all rooms.

Overall this hotel is great and was there during peak season so it was sold out. The staff was great and even with some rowdy customers, they handled it well. Would go back next year.

Everything was great including our room, breakfast, and friendly staff. The general manager Vonda and her staff were extremely busy during this holiday week, but took the time to make sure our stay was great!

Thin walls, you can hear everything and the slamming of doors starts at 6am. Lady was very rude that breakfast ends at 930 when it was 915. Overpriced for what you are getting.

Our room wasn't ready until 5:30pm. Staff were cleaning rooms until 10pm. Very noisy listening to the vacuuming and staff talking loudly in hallway. Check it time was 3pm. Everyone checking in were told their rooms were not ready also. This property is having major problems. Id recommend folks sty in Boone rather than Blocking Rocks.
