Perfect location to stay in Pan Pacific Yangon For me, Not the first time i had a great review for this hotel. I had been here several times as it's really the best hotel. Hotel room is cleanliness and comfy bed. And I was really enjoyed buffet breakfast, also I love to sit the bar to chill with my love one. All staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel besides really good locations. You will see a lovely Church from swimming pool and nice to relaxing. Highly recommended to all business and vacation travelers. Needless to say, the cleanliness of the hotel is excellent since it's a five stars hotel. One can see the employees working in a professional manner due to the good training of the management team. For example, I have been cheering at this hotel's gym for many years because of the friendly staff, particularly at the gym. If I have to give a strong recommendation, I would like to recommend the Parkroyal Hotel's gym. It is because Manager Ma Ninisaw and the trainer (Mr. Sunny and Mr . Soe Than) provided all guests with excellent service and warm treatment. The pool and spa are also clean. I'd like to invite guests who have not yet arrived to come and stay. When you arrive at Parkroyal Hotel, you will definitely feel like you are at home.

HOTEL BALMI, After staying with 4 of my family in the HOTEL BALMI for 20 days, my experience in this hotel will not disappear in my life time memories. The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing. On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. My favourite staff are Patrick (F&B Supervisor) Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain) Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service) Tin Win Aung (Bartender) Thura Maung ( Operation Manager) Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy) Soe Aung (Night Security) Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We strongly recommend to stay at HOTEL BALMI whatever the reason in Yangon, Myanmar.

Staff were friendly and helped us a lot. We mentioned when we booked the room that we were going for our honeymoon. The hotel immediately upgraded our room, upgraded our standard room without windows to a luxurious balcony room, and the view of the Ruiguang Shwedagon Pagoda from the balcony. They even prepared roses in bed and bathroom. Another thing that surprised me was that when we finished the view and returned to the room, we found the hotel sent us a beautiful cake and a postcard full of blessings. I was very impressed by their care and service to customers. In addition, the breakfast buffet they offer is very rich and delicious.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

I didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but the photos and rating seemed good. I should have been more cautious and read the reviews more carefully. First, there is no elevator. My fault for not checking that, so no negative rating for this. The hotel has 8 floors so you may have to climb 8 stories to your room. The biggest shock factor was how old and beat up the rooms were. The website pictures look nice but are either photoshopped or so old that they no longer are accurate. The walls are dirty and covered in the blood of many dead mosquitoes. The bathrooms used to have white grout, but now are black with mildew. -2 rating for horribly accurate pictures. Second, the hotel does nothing for mosquito control. I stayed in multiple hotels throughout Myanmar and every hotel was proactive at controlling the mosquitoes. This place does nothing and the rooms were filled with them. We got bit multiple times during the night. -1 rating for mosquito control. We got the entire floor (two rooms), and one of the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. -1 rating for that. +1 rating as the staff seemed nice, the breakfast was decent, and location was good. That adds up to a +2 rating. I would not recommend this place at all.

A nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff. Decent breakfast, the mohinga was excellent. My only complaint is that the eggs were always really cold. Good location 5 minutes walk to the Junction mall and 15-20 minutes to City Mall. You can find restaurants, Bread Talk, a supermarket etc at the Junction which is very convenient.
