Hotels near Yodo River Park Sewaritei District in Yawata

This hotel was in a really great location, right beside the main Kyoto train station. The room was very spacious and had a nice view of the Kyoto station so you could see the shinkansen trains come in. The only drawback is that at night you could hear the vehicles outside. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a no-frills, modern hotel (7-Eleven is next door). Our Twin Room was big and comfortable with a good-sized bathroom; a nice touch to have a fabric freshener spray near the coat hooks. It’s a walking distance to Omiya station along the Hankyu Line which includes Umeda (great for those coming from Osaka); close to downtown (Kawaramachi) where you can either walk or take the subway to attractions such as Nishiki Market (Shijo) and Gion (Gion-shijo).

Clean and comfortable room with daily house keeping, comes with all the toiletries I needed. Conveniently located at 3 minutes walk from the closest subway exit and also close to bus stations for routes to popular sightseeing spots. Self-service check-out machine was easy to use and the process took only half a minute. Suggest to add a clothesline and a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom, and the room would be perfect.

The boss was very enthusiastic. On the first day, he sent me to the tram station and told me in detail how to take the car. The next day, he sent me directly to the airport. There are also 6 coin laundry units, which is appreciated for long-term stays. It seems that a group of school excursion students was staying there, and I was worried that I could hear a slapstick noise at a fairly late time. There is also a convenience store, so it's very convenient, but it was very disturbing because a group of school excursion students was shopping and it was very crowded, and I didn't know how to use the self-checkout and was making a fuss. It was. Isn't it shifting such shopping time or the school side manages it? Apart from that, I was able to spend comfortably without any problems.

3 stations from JR Kyoto Station, a 5-minute walk from Nijo Station on the subway Tozai Line, and a very convenient location right next to Sanjo Shopping Street, the longest shopping mall in Kyoto City. It looks like a machiya hotel along an alley in a residential area, but there is a large dining space and a communal kitchen in the lobby on the first floor. It is a newly built hotel that was just built this year, and there are 3 washing machines on each floor, which is very convenient for long stays. The rooms are full of beds, but the bathrooms are average size and the rooms with kitchens are said to be slightly larger. Just like a one-room apartment, there are many people who stay for a long time, and it seems that all the guests are getting along well with the kind men at the front desk and the international student staff, just like a boarding house. I felt it.

This is the first time I have seen all-you-can-drink beer, tea and other drinks in a hotel! The world plaza in the hotel provides a good space to chat and enjoy Kyoto snacks. The boss was very nice and took the initiative to help us carry our luggage. This hotel is located right near the intersection of Shijo Horikawa. I checked in at midnight, but the front desk was kind and I was able to respond without a disgusting face. The room was clean and the amenities were substantial, and there was a USB port for charging, which was very helpful. However, probably because it was a premise to use a large communal bath, there was only a shower booth in the room. It may be a negative for those who want to slowly soak in the bathtub in the room. Personally, I was happy with the large communal bath, so there was no problem at all. It was also good that the transportation was convenient. From the Shijo Horikawa bus stop, you can go not only to Kyoto Station, but also to famous tourist spots such as Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera, Toji, Nijo Castle, Arashiyama, and you can go to Gion and downtown Kawaramachi without changing trains. You will need to change trains once, but you can also go to Nanzenji Temple and Ginkakuji Temple. If you walk a little, you will find Hankyu Omiya Station and Arashiden Shijo Omiya Station, and it is very accessible for sightseeing or business. There is a Family Mart just south of the hotel, and there are 7-Eleven ahead, so you don't have to worry about a little shopping. The accommodation fee was reasonable and it is a recommended hotel.

Location was great which was close to Nishiki Market. Staff were very nice and room was new and clean. There was window in the room but couldn’t see outside and couldn’t open. There was no soundproof of the hotel. I heard the locals were speaking in the corridor in the middle of the night and emergency cars went by almost every night. However, overall experience was great.

Very convenient location, right in the middle of Kyoto, subway station nearby as well as a pretty decent market literally 2 minutes away by foot. The rooms are small and there aren’t things like a private bathroom, though the shared facilities are nice and clean so there’s no real issue with it.
