Reviews of Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa

We just stayed one night a few days before Xmas. Lovely entrance and welcome to the hotel. Nicely decorated. Drinks on arrival. Fast check in. Restaurant very busy and crowded. Food; usual buffet style, I wouldn’t say there was a wide choice but what we had was tasty. Salads and counter tops were quite messy. Room was nicely designed and modern but not especially clean ( floor needed a good vacuum). Bed ok. TV had English channels. Evening entertainment was a violin duo in the lobby. I was disappointed with the spa area. A nice indoor pool which was quite cool and I saw no one use it. It just didn’t seem very inviting and I love swimming. The setting is fabulous and about a 30 min walk along the beautiful coastal path to the Harbour. Buses run from outside the hotel. Overall a nice stay but not fantastic.

A tired hotel, average food, very poor alcoholic drinks – all in a basic all-inclusive package. The rooms are very small. It was noisy at night, with extremely loud music playing until midnight. The pillows were uncomfortable.

The hotel is very large in the local area, with perfect environment, facilities and services. The hotel has its own independent beach. There are also facilities such as SPA, sauna and other facilities. There are many kinds of buffets. It is also a great place to watch the sunset every day.

The location is ideal for those who want a quiet holiday, the first line, the beach is not very well equipped, but you can swim if you want. Very tasty food (fish, chicken, meat, there is even Cypriot kleftiko - a lamb dish), various cocktails from good alcohol. The hotel itself is large, there is a hot jacuzzi and a small pool inside, the pool with a slight heating may seem cool. The rooms are good, a very comfortable bed and, oh, miracle, pillows)) the staff is also very responsive and attentive :) I really liked the room with access to a private pool (there is one pool for 6 rooms).
