Atour Hotel (Zhongshan 2nd Road, Lihe Plaza)

Honestly, the location of this Atour Hotel is truly a hidden gem, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. Step outside and you're on a wide, quiet street, free from noise. Just a short walk away is Huafa Mall, which has everything from dining to entertainment. We only stayed for two days and even managed to catch two movies, haha! Compared to that other big, new Atour by Qijiang River, my partner and I much prefer this one at Lihe Plaza on Erlu Road. It just feels more like home 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♂️. While there's no view from the room, ( ˘_˘)っ˘_˘ ) you won't have to worry about noise when you sleep at night. Also worth mentioning: 1️⃣ Atour's bedding is incredibly comfortable. From the pillows to the duvet and the mattress – it's perfect! 2️⃣ The bathroom's music🎶 system is also very creative. Showering🚿 while listening to music▶• ılıılıılıılıılıılı. 0 feels great~~ 3️⃣ All the drinks and snacks in the mini-bar are complimentary, and the staff replenishes them daily (BTW: The honey black tea is delicious 🥰). 4️⃣ The free late-night snacks are also fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻. The congee is really well-made.

This was the worst Atour I've ever stayed at. My reservation stated a 2 PM check-in, but the room wasn't ready until 2:30 PM, and they seemed to rush to get it cleaned. The soundproofing is absolutely terrible; I could hear everything from the room next door – showers, flushing toilets, and even plugs being pulled from sockets. Most importantly, my booking clearly included breakfast, but the front desk staff tried to deny it, even arguing it was only for children. I had to show them my reservation details before they finally acknowledged it. This awful hotel completely ruined the good mood I had for my entire trip.
