Bolan Hotel

The hotel stay was excellent! The room was clean, and the location was very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. However, the room was a bit small, close to the stairwell, and the soundproofing could be improved.

Even if you redeem a late check-out voucher through Ctrip, the hotel will still call you to leave earlier.

The facilities are rather old and the cleaning is poor; there were food scraps on the floor and many mosquitoes, of which I've already killed four. The view is nice, the air conditioning is quiet and cool enough, parking is convenient, and the front desk staff are helpful.

I stayed here because of my friend's home in Zhuhai, where there weren't many hotels nearby. The room was on the second floor with no elevator! The room with two beds was quite large; the beds were wide and comfortable, and the sheets and blankets looked clean and tidy. The paint on the walls was peeling. The toilet was relatively small, and the shower screen was even narrower; a slightly overweight person couldn't even turn around. There weren't many guests on the day I checked in. When I checked in in the afternoon, I noticed that all the other room doors were open, which seemed strange. I was woken up in the middle of the night by a woman's scream!! I don't know where the sound came from, I only vaguely heard "What am I supposed to do? &$+*#%@....." and then it sounded like she opened the door and left? However, since someone was making noise in the middle of the night for no apparent reason, it wasn't really the hotel's fault. I hadn't heard any noise from the next room before, so the room's soundproofing was probably okay.

Affordable. The downside is, no breakfast.

It was so late that it was hard to find a hotel, so my friend and I just randomly booked a hotel near Wanda Plaza after having dinner. The room was a complete surprise – small, dirty, old, and run-down. It had nothing we needed.
