"We just came back from our 4 nights stay. The Inn looked clean and offered a good breakfast, although in a different building. That is pretty much it. Our stay was not the most pleasant though. We booked a room for 3 people (we were traveling with our teenage kid) and at the time of booking I specified that I needed a room large enough for three people and an additional bed for our son. I called the Inn twice in the week prior to our arrival to make sure we had the room we needed and to let them know that we were arriving late in the evening. We arrived on Thursday night at 9 pm to find out that the room we were given was incredibly small and there was no place for an additional bed. The receptionist, a foreign student, called the manager who told her to add a cot to the already small room. We asked for another room and we were offered a room on the third story that was identical to the one we were given but with an awful smell and we declined it. The receptionist told us to either take the room we were assigned or leave. Little caveat, we had already prepaid a non refundable rate and at this time of the year there are no rooms available on Old Orchard Beach without a reservation. The receptionist did not seem to understand the conundrum of the prepaid non refundable stay and did not want to call the manager a second time to try to help us out. We did not want to lose the money we had already disbursed for our vacation so we had no choice but to take the room we were given, move the furniture around to fit a cot bed between our bed and a bureau (which then we could not use because his bed was right against the drawers). Every night we had to move all the luggage against the door to have enough space for the three of us to get to the tiniest bathroom you can think of (a closet repurposed as a bathroom). I do not understand why they accepted the reservation and ended up messing up with our vacation. They could have rejected the reservation saying that they did not have a room for us and I would have booked a room somewhere else. This small room could have worked for a couple but did not work for a family. The room service is offered every other day which meant leaving wet towels from 3 people's showers on the bathroom for an entire day. On one day, I asked for a garbage bag and put the wet towels outside the floor for someone to pick up. Same for the garbage. They sat there in the hallway until the next day. How do they expect people to shower every day, without a change of towels, especially after spending a day at the beach? There are a lot of things that could have been done better. We have been at OOB several times and other motels offer a much better service. I think there is a lot of potential but they need better management. Will not stay there again."

Maybe not located in the city center or by the sea but we love the vibes of this location so much. it was quiet and surrounding by real portland local. Most important only a block away from Tandem Coffee which everyone must try once you are in portland. The living room and bedroom are absolutely fabulous. Grab yourselves a few snack at their snack bar and laying there is great enough.💖💖

This is a very nice and clean space to stay outside of Bangor. It's on the way to Bar Harbor and northern points like New Brunswick. It has decent views and old fashioned Maine rooms. Its short on local amenities- its on the road between bar harbor and ellsworth and there is little nearby except the golf course across the street. There is a small outdoor swimming pool

A very comfortable hotel with spacious airy rooms. The adjoining restaurant is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is even a grand piano in the lobby for guests to play. It is however quite out of tune!

Quiet, clean, good price point, easy highway in and out, easy walk to downtown. The room we had this last trip (10B) was exceedingly small, but manageable for a one-nighter.

When we checked in at night, the lady at the front desk politely introduced us. The breakfast is also good, two options can be selected, as shown in the picture, the other is muffins, and there are many drinks. The room was spacious and clean enough to sleep comfortably. The service is also very fast. If you need anything, just go to the front desk and ask him for it (the phone can't be used 😂), and the delivery is very fast. There is also a billiard room (free) and a washing machine (2.5~3🔪) and a dryer (2🔪). Free parking!
