We checked in around 8:30-9:00 PM on June 7, 2026. The staff member at reception was incredibly kind and helpful, which made for a great start to our stay. The hot water worked perfectly, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location, just a short walk to the sea, was fantastic. They have a swimming pool that didn't smell strongly of chlorine, and it's about 1 to 1.85m deep. There's also a hot spa right next to it with wonderfully warm water. I'd definitely want to come back! Just a heads-up: you'll need to buy your own bottled water when you check in, as none is provided in the room.
Unexpectedly comfortable! The room is spacious, the kitchenware is complete, and the bedding is comfortable. It is so comfortable to enjoy the massage chair and bathtub after climbing the mountain! There are often dozens of ducks playing in the small pond outside the French window, kangaroos jumping on the lawn from morning to night, and flocks of parrots and beautiful birds.

I had an unexpected allergy to cat dander at a friend's place during my trip to Melbourne, so I booked this hotel very last minute. To my surprise, the overall experience was much better than I expected.
The hotel's location is right in the heart of Melbourne. Stepping out, you're immediately in Chinatown, surrounded by Asian supermarkets, a variety of Chinese restaurants, major domestic bubble tea brands, and even the city's largest department store with many famous brands. There's even an Arc'teryx store right across from the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise!
Transportation is super convenient too. Just a short walk from the hotel, you'll find tram and bus stops.
Since I booked it at a low price and found this hotel in a hurry, I initially thought I'd just make do, but it was genuinely a pleasant surprise.
The hotel lobby's fragrance is on par with five-star hotels. The front desk even has a self check-in machine, which is quite convenient. You can also request an extra key card to keep the power on or for a companion. This was really great for an introvert like me! 😂 You need to swipe your card to access each floor, so safety is also good.
The room isn't huge, but it's fair for the price. The cleanliness was also good; the toilet and bathroom were surprisingly spotless. The only minor drawback is that if you turn on the air conditioning at night, it can be noisy, and the soundproofing from the hallway isn't great either.
Overall, the value for money is good. It's very suitable for those who don't demand perfect accommodation but prioritize convenient travel and easy access to Chinese food.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the town hall, making it easy to walk to anywhere in the city center. Although it's a 3-star hotel in an old building, the facilities are very new, the bed is soft, and there's a mini-fridge. The only downside is that the internet can be a bit slow when there are a lot of people, but that doesn't affect my overall rating!
I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room.
Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.

I booked two hotels on the Southbank of the Yarra River this time. First, let's talk about Crown Towers, which is located on the western side. My first impression was its luxury. It's connected to a casino and surrounded by high-end luxury stores, with a grand lobby. My second impression was how friendly it is to Chinese guests; all the elevator buttons have both Chinese and English annotations, and there were many festive elements for Chinese New Year. The room faced the Yarra River, offering a nice view, and there were various restaurants downstairs, making dining convenient.
Walking west from the hotel, away from the bustling Flinders Street Station, I experienced the quiet and less crowded Yarra River after an evening rain. It was then that I truly understood why Melbourne has been repeatedly voted the world's most livable city. It was a refreshing and comfortable feeling that made me exclaim, 'Life can truly be this wonderful!'
If you have ample time, I highly recommend staying a night by the Yarra River. I suggest booking a hotel on the western side; though the location might be slightly more secluded, it offers a convenient way to experience the Yarra River away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Like Sydney's Crown Towers, Melbourne's Crown Towers is also lively and a bit flamboyant. This doesn't quite align with the quiet and understated elegance typically associated with luxury hotels, but perhaps that's why its high price offers good value for money. The pool was crowded in the evening but wonderfully empty in the morning for a great swim.
Additionally, it's very close to DFO South Wharf (Melbourne's largest outlet mall). We didn't know this at the time and ended up taking a taxi from our subsequent hotel near the University of Melbourne. If we had known, it would have been much more convenient to just stroll over from here.

It’s my second night staying here in Melbourne before heading to the airport on the next day. I find it very convenient staying here. The room is okay and good enough for a short stay or on a budget.
Langley Estate, Bendigo offers accommodations in Bendigo, 3.3 miles from Bendigo Train Station and 2.5 miles from Queen Elizabeth Oval. Housed in a building dating back to 1904, this bed and breakfast is 2.7 miles from Ulumbarra Theatre and 2.8 miles from Rosalind Park. The bed and breakfast provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking, and free Wifi.
The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hair dryer, free toiletries, and shower. All rooms come with a kettle, while some have a balcony. At the bed and breakfast, all units come with bed linen and towels.
Guests can also relax in the garden.
Sacred Heart Cathedral is 2.9 miles from Langley Estate, Bendigo, while Central Deborah Gold Mine is 3.6 miles away. Melbourne Airport is 81 miles from the property.
Exceeded my expectations! Although the location isn't the most convenient and it's a bit far from the city, the environment is absolutely wonderful, and I really loved the room. Breakfast was also quite good. All in all, this place is truly excellent.

The serviced apartment was incredibly spacious. It came fully equipped with a great selection of kitchenware, including cutlery, knives, forks, dishes, and cooking utensils. The location is excellent—very close to a supermarket, making it super easy to buy groceries and prepare meals daily. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI spent a long time choosing this hotel on the platform before my trip to Melbourne. The listing mentioned it was a new opening in December 2025, and the location looked fantastic – right next to Queen Victoria Market with tram stops just downstairs, making it super easy to get to all the attractions.
I was in Room 506. However, after checking in, I noticed two lights in the room weren't working, as shown in the picture. Since there's no main ceiling light, my friend and I had to rely on just one corridor light, three small desk lamps, and natural light from the window to get around the room. This made putting on makeup really inconvenient. The bathroom lighting was also quite warm-toned, and it felt a bit cramped with both of us trying to get ready in there.
The bedding was clean, which was good. But, we found leftover paper scraps from the previous guest in the rubbish bin, and there was even some product packaging left in the storage cabinet near the entrance.
The hotel appears to be a renovation, as the air conditioning control panel was yellowed and looked quite old.
It's worth noting this isn't a traditional hotel; it's a serviced apartment. I've previously stayed at serviced apartments from brands like Stey and Habyt on short-term rentals, and based on this experience, I feel lyf still has a lot of room for improvement.

TTina FeThe hotel carpet smells, the building is old and needs a total replacement of carpet. When we entered our room. It smells like bleach everywhere. We have to open the window to make it go away. The room is decent size and the toilet and bath are separated where there are no hand basin to use after using the toilet if someone is using the shower or bath tub. The view from our balcony is magnificent, the Melbourne tall buildings skyline. I also love the location because it is near public transport, free tram and shops, even universities. The kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and pans. They got free coffee, tea and milk. The toiletries were given 1 set of tiny bottles but we are 4 people booked in.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is really good. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from the terminal. The room size is good for unpack & repack your stuff for the trip.
Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.
GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.
RRO_+I had a very pleasant stay overall. The service was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, which made for a great night’s rest. I also enjoyed the view, it was fresh and satisfying. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again.

PPARAS RABRAWarm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations.
The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a bit old, but its location is a big plus – super convenient for shopping! The bed was comfy and soft, and the in-room facilities were well-equipped. No one offered to help with luggage, and the hotel has two entrances, but the staff didn't tell me which one was easier for catching a ride. When I came back by taxi, they didn't open the door for me, but when my friends dropped me off, they were very enthusiastic, opened the car door, and greeted us!

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel again and it was fantastic! The transportation is convenient, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Everyone, including the elderly and children, was very satisfied with our stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the lobby is spacious and bright. There are plenty of elevators, so even during peak hours, you don't wait long. The rooms are also spacious with beautiful window views; one side should offer a clear view of the river connecting the North and South banks, perfect for watching New Year's fireworks. Housekeeping is arranged from the third day of your stay, and they do a thorough and clean job. Overall, I'm very satisfied, although the location is a bit far from the CBD and Melbourne's main attractions. However, once you cross to the North Bank, you're not far from the tram free zone, which makes up for it. 👍👍👍
