"The environment is quiet and pleasant, the location is excellent, and the soundproofing in the rooms is good. The service attitude, in particular, was exceptional; they promptly and satisfactorily resolved any minor issues. The breakfast was also very rich and delicious. The Guilin rice noodles at the hotel's breakfast were surprisingly the best I had in Guilin! Plus, having a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea flagship store right next to the hotel is definitely a bonus! 😊"

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very good, close to West Street, with easy access to restaurants and everything you need, but still away from the busiest and noisiest part, which made it perfect. The staff were very helpful and guided us with tour activities around the area. We were also able to rent electric bikes through them for a very affordable price, which made exploring even better. A big plus is the spa right next to the hotel, offering massages until midnight, perfect after a long day out. It was also during the World Cup, and we could watch the games comfortably on the TV in our room, which was a great bonus. The room itself was nice and clean, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. I would definitely recommend it."

"The hotel environment is great, with a top-notch restaurant and bar offering excellent views, perfect for taking photos! It's also conveniently located, with many authentic local eateries nearby. Just across the street, you'll find roadside pubs, BBQ stalls, and more. You can sit by the river, enjoy the breeze, listen to music, and have a drink... it's wonderful! If you prefer not to go out, you can also relax at the hotel bar and enjoy the city lights and river views from above. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, and they even have delicious Luosifen! The staff are enthusiastic; even the cleaning staff I met in the elevator greeted me politely and proactively. You need to use your room card for the elevators, which significantly enhances privacy and security. Overall, it's excellent, and I would choose to stay here again!"

Every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free The staff impressed me the most. They notice small details and truly care about guests. At first, I was surprised that even staff members I had never met before already knew my room number. It was a little funny and unexpected 😄 But like this you understand the high level of the service Everyone was so kind to me and always ready to help 🥺 Even if someone doesn’t speak English, they quickly use a translator and do their best to solve any problem The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows are probably one of my favorite parts of the stay - I honestly did not want to leave them! The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including nice Chinese tea, coffee, and many small details that make you feel at home like bath salt. Another very useful detail for travelers is the free self-service laundry. When you travel for a longer time, having a place where you can easily wash your clothes is a huge advantage The breakfast was also a wonderful surprise. While traveling around China, I often found that hotel breakfasts were mostly focused on Chinese food, which can sometimes be difficult for international travelers. Here, there is also a great Western breakfast with enough choices Another amazing part is the number of complimentary experiences included in the stay. Fresh fruits every day, afternoon drinks with desserts, cultural activities, and more. Sometimes there are so many things to enjoy that you don’t even want to leave the hotel😅 I especially loved the Chinese calligraphy experience. Writing calligraphy while two lovely parrots sometimes came to sit on my shoulder felt like a real journey into traditional Chinese culture. You can also create small handmade souvenirs, which makes the experience even more memorable The location is perfect, with incredible mountain views all around. And one small detail that I really appreciated: the panoramic windows are always perfectly clean. In many hotels, beautiful views are ruined by dirty windows, but here you can fully enjoy the scenery P.S.: just one small suggestion it would be great to have a “Do not disturb” sign. Some guests may want to have some private time and make sure that nobody enters the room"

"The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

Initially, the hotel's color scheme seemed a bit odd, but I later learned it was the color of the sunset glow on the old buildings. This nostalgic and genuine warmth permeated every aspect of the hotel's service. Because the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, I was upgraded to a suite! I was overjoyed. 🛏️ Suite Experience Over 100 square meters. The suite included an indoor soaking tub and swimming pool. The color scheme was simple and elegant—a combination of off-white, light brown, and dark wood tones, instantly creating a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the window overlooked the Silver Beach! The room amenities were top-of-the-line, from bedding to toiletries, with attention to detail everywhere. 🍽️ Dining Stunning Completely unlike anything I'd expected from a third-tier city. The selection of breakfast items was simply unbelievable for a city like this. Makana Bakery, located in the bakery, offers locally inspired bread innovations—Guangxi Liubao Tea Croissant, Pandan Coconut Croissant, Lychee Sea Salt Croissant—bringing local flavors and French baking techniques together beautifully, rivaling boutique bakeries in first-tier cities. I tried the coffee shop, Chinese restaurant, and ice cream shop one by one, and each exceeded my expectations. The hotel dedicated significant space to local cultural exhibitions. As a keen citywalker, I was exhausted from exploring Beihai's old streets and various seaside areas, but surprisingly, the most insightful experience of the city came from the hotel's exhibition hall 🤣 The curation was excellent. The curatorial text and style were tasteful. It wasn't just a perfunctory display of folk customs, but a genuine exploration of the city's historical context and way of life—from maritime culture to the memories of the Tanka people, from the old street fabric to the evolution of contemporary Beihai. It was also a photogenic spot. Another feature of the hotel is the inclusion of a collection space showcasing several high-quality niche brands. From luxury lifestyle products to carefully selected souvenirs, everything was practical, stylish, and imbued with Beihai's essence. These brands offer excellent taste and value for money. Although I also visited other places and tried several hotels, I felt that this hotel was enough for my trip to Beihai. I could relax, enjoy the sea view, shop, and eat to my heart's content. Finally, let me talk about the service. It wasn't the professional hotel service I'd expected. Having stayed in top-tier hotels, I understand the natural and welcoming atmosphere of a butler. But perhaps because it had just opened, many people's eyes held a touch of naivety and unfamiliarity. They were cautious yet attentive, which was especially endearing. That simple, unfamiliar sincerity was touching. You could see their dedication. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I've stayed in countless great hotels. This is the first time I've written such a thoughtful review. Because this place is more than just a hotel; it allowed me to rediscover Beihai. It also solved the pain points of traveling in a third- or fourth-tier city regarding dining, service, and the aesthetics and practicality of souvenirs (and the value for money was excellent). This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a key to understanding Beihai and a haven for my short stay."

"The hotel is just across the road from Ailian Lake Park. The cherry blossoms and water lilies in the park are currently in full bloom, making for a nice view. However, breakfast was just average. At night, the surrounding area was incredibly noisy with loud music that went on until very late."
