Hotel near Dandong Station/The Yalu River Broken Bridge,Dandong 49.9% of visitors choose this area

Stayed at this hotel on the evening of March 27th. **Service:** Pretty good. They even provide complimentary binoculars in the room, which is a nice touch. **Breakfast:** Located on the second floor. It's a buffet and quite substantial. **Surroundings:** Right by the Yalu River. However, the road in front of the hotel leading to the river, and the traffic light setup, is a bit oddly planned. It's a few blocks from the train station – a distance that's a bit awkward for both walking and taking a ride-hailing service. **Facilities:** I'm not sure if it was the underfloor heating or the large windows, but the area near the windows got incredibly hot once the sun came out. Something to be aware of.

This spring, my family and I drove to Dalian to see the sea. After a week of research, I finally chose this hotel. After staying for three days, my whole family, from the youngest to the oldest, couldn't find a single fault. I absolutely have to write this positive review to serve as a reference for friends planning to visit Dalian.👍 Since we were driving, I called the hotel a day in advance to confirm our reservation. They kindly reserved a parking space near the entrance for us, so we could drive straight there after exiting the highway without circling for parking. As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a bellhop quickly came over, actively helped us with our luggage from the trunk, and even slowed his pace to guide us when he saw my mother using a trekking pole. His attitude was warm and natural, completely free of any awkward over-enthusiasm. During check-in, the front desk attendant, upon hearing we were bringing children to see the sea, upgraded us to a side sea-view room for free. She also thoughtfully gave the children small dinosaur toys and kid-friendly amenities. She even specifically reminded housekeeping to boil the kettle in our room beforehand, knowing my mother prefers warm tea. These small details, showing they truly cared about guests' needs, instantly warmed our hearts. The moment we opened the room door, we were truly amazed. The huge observation balcony directly faced Xinghai Bay Bridge. In the morning, we could see the white bridge casting a soft shadow on the azure sea. In the evening, the sunset dyed the waves into shimmering gold. At night, we could sit on the balcony, feel the sea breeze, and watch the bridge lights gradually illuminate. Any photo we took was a stunning, unedited seascape masterpiece. The room was meticulously cleaned; we couldn't find a speck of dust on top of the wardrobe or in the crevices of the bedside tables. The bedding felt clean and sun-kissed, and the mattress had just the right firmness. My dad, who has back issues, said he didn't experience any back pain after sleeping for two nights. The pillows also offered both soft and memory foam options, ensuring everyone in the family could find a suitable one. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and the glass was sparkling clean without any water stains. Hot water came out in ten seconds, and the water pressure was very stable, so there was no waiting for showering or shampooing. The toiletries had a light green tea scent, not overpowering, and safe for children to use. Even more surprising was the mini-bar: Coke, Sprite, and small packets of local Mackerel Porridge snacks were all complimentary and replenished daily. After returning from our walk by the sea, sipping on an ice-cold soda instantly washed away all our fatigue.🍹 The location couldn't be better. Xinghai Square is just a ten-minute walk from the hotel entrance, so there's no need to drive and fight for parking. Every morning, we enjoyed strolling along the seaside boardwalk, feeling wonderfully refreshed by the salty sea breeze. To get to Discovery Kingdom in Jinshitan, there's a light rail station right outside, providing a direct ride without transfers. Dining options were also convenient; several local seafood restaurants were within a ten-minute walk from the hotel. We tried the iron-pot stewed mackerel, which was incredibly fresh. In the mornings, if we wanted Dalian's traditional soy milk, there was a breakfast shop just around the corner – so incredibly convenient. The hotel's amenities also exceeded our expectations. The lobby on the first floor always offered complimentary local Dalian flower tea. Every time we returned, we could enjoy a warm cup, which was both refreshing and soothing. The self-service laundry room on the second floor was free, complete with detergent and dryers. During our three-day stay, we washed and dried our clothes as we changed them, eliminating the need to pack a bulky wardrobe, making our trip incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast selection was also particularly rich. The freshly steamed mackerel buns were bursting with savory juice, and the fried yellow croaker was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Even I, someone who usually dislikes breakfast, was willing to wake up early for extra plates. The restaurant aunties, seeing we had children, even proactively helped us with high chairs and warmed milk – their thoughtfulness was absolutely top-notch. On the day of check-out, I accidentally left my jade pendant in the room. The cleaning staff found it and immediately brought it to the front desk. Within ten minutes, the front desk contacted us, who were already halfway down the road. After verifying our information, they promptly returned it without any hesitation. This level of honesty and reliability is truly reassuring. A large part of the good mood during this Dalian sea trip came from this hotel. Whether it was the service, facilities, or location, everything far exceeded the standards of hotels in the same price range, offering incredibly high value for money. I've already recommended it to friends who are coming to Dalian next month to see the cherry blossoms. The next time we come to Dalian to see the sea, this will definitely be our first choice, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone planning a trip to Dalian – choosing this hotel is an absolute win.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent! Its location is quite close to Zhongshan Square, and transportation around it is also very convenient. It's really close to popular internet-famous attractions. There's also a large farmers' market behind the hotel, which is super convenient for buying local specialties and getting seafood processed. The value for money is outstanding, and it's also very close to the beach. Highly recommended!

This is my second stay at Shangri-La, and it was just as delightful as the first! They contacted me a day in advance to discuss check-in, and even prepared a special pillow and toiletries for my child. My license plate was also pre-registered. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept soundly. Selina from Guest Relations provided warm and attentive service, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite MixC City, accessible via an underground pass, and parking is convenient. Breakfast was plentiful, and the Horizon Club offered exquisite à la carte dishes. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shenyang!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! I originally just wanted to pick a hotel with a good location in Xinghai Square, but I didn't expect such thoughtful service. They contacted me in advance to send me the location and even reminded me that it would be windy by the sea and to wear more clothes. When I arrived, I was even more impressed by all the warm little tips. At night, they even told me the temperature for Dalian the next day, which I found incredibly considerate. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The room was also exceptionally clean, and you could really tell the cleaning staff put a lot of effort into it. The facilities and amenities were very comprehensive; the hairdryer, in particular, was really comfortable to use. After staying for a day, I felt very good about it and will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Shenyang Zhongjie Dashuaifu Hotel. I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. First off, the hotel's location is extremely convenient, close to the city center with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, making getting around super easy. The room was spacious and bright, with modern and comfortable decor, and the bed was especially soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's service was also impressive; the front desk staff were warm and friendly, always ready to assist. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, fresh ingredients, and tasted delicious. The hotel also provides free WiFi, with a strong and stable signal, meeting both my work and entertainment needs. Overall, this hotel is impeccable in terms of location, facilities, and service, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to this city.

This is a designer hotel, definitely from the master's pen. I don't know if the Achilles and Achilles are a design team. The hotel is good everywhere. This service is difficult to say. Maybe the northerners have a strong personality. Such a luxurious hotel has no service. It's a pity for this store. The design is so good, the room is big enough, the park is very exquisite, and the porridge at night is also very good. It can be said that the boss is very attentive and the team is very pulling. It's a pity! In fact, I came to Jinzhou for this store.

I have to give a perfect score to Alisa, the Guest Relations Manager at Hilton Shenyang Shimao! Her professionalism and thoughtfulness completely won me over during this stay. She proactively contacted me before check-in to understand my needs in detail and arranged a high-floor city view room for me in advance, which had an amazing view. The check-in process was efficient and friendly; she patiently answered all my questions and thoughtfully recommended local Shenyang delicacies and sightseeing routes, making me, a first-time visitor, feel incredibly welcome. Throughout my stay, Alisa constantly checked in on my experience, proactively bringing welcome fruits and comforting tea. When a minor issue arose, she coordinated a quick and excellent resolution immediately. Her service was attentive yet unobtrusive; every detail showed her dedication. From check-in to check-out, I felt respected and cared for the entire time. The hotel boasts an excellent location, complete facilities, and clean, comfortable rooms, but Alisa's service was truly the biggest highlight. She exemplified Hilton's hospitality with her professionalism and sincerity, making my trip to Shenyang exceptionally pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shenyang, and be sure to seek out Alisa – you won't be disappointed! Five-star review, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenyang!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right at Exit C of Metro Line 1, making it super convenient to get anywhere. You step out directly into the heart of Zhongjie Street, and across the street is the famous Lao Bian Dumpling restaurant. It's just a 2-3 minute walk to attractions like Zhongjie's First Lane and Ear-Hole Lane, and there are tons of great food options nearby – you can practically try all of Shenyang's local snacks! Plus, it's very close to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Marshal Zhang's Mansion, Liu Laogen Grand Stage, and Dadong Food Store, all within easy walking distance. The hotel is on a high floor, offering great views, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is also good. This is definitely an excellent choice for anyone visiting Shenyang.

DDayuxiaodiAs a local couple from Shenyang who have experienced various hotels, Conrad is the only one we keep coming back to. It truly sets the benchmark for hotels in Northeast China! 👍 The dining, service, gym, pool, and views are all top-notch in Shenyang. We chose Conrad again for our anniversary. The executive lounge benefits for two included delicious afternoon tea pastries, drinks, and cookies. Dinner was quite substantial, featuring curry lamb, seasonal vegetables, and freshly made noodles, along with several cocktails – definitely worth a staycation. This was our first time bringing our child, and we discovered Conrad's solid wood kids' play area, which is really well-made and quite rare. I'm not a fan of ball pits; they don't seem very hygienic or safe. Our baby had a great time here, and it was relaxing for us parents too. The space is large and safe, truly worth bringing kids to. This setup allows one parent to take care of the child while the other enjoys swimming or working out, which is a lifesaver! Conrad's swimming pool is a must-visit for me. The 28.5℃ constant temperature pool has an amazing environment and view. The gym is professional, clean, and very high-end, with an open layout rather than being cramped. You can work out every body part, and they've even added new equipment – fantastic! 👍 The executive rooms feature a round bathtub by the window, offering incredible views from the 80+ floor. You can even bring your favorite bubble bath. The breakfast beef noodles are excellent! 👍 The roujiamo and sauerkraut pies are quite unique. The lunch roasted duck is great! 👍 And they offer salmon. Finally, a huge thank you to Steven, Sarah, and Vera for their warm and thoughtful service. They were incredibly responsive to all our requests. The service at Conrad Shenyang is truly its soul! 👍 I recommend it to everyone visiting Shenyang.

HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

GGuest UserWhat a surprise, I booked it for one day at first, fearing it would be uncomfortable. I didn't expect the boss and the front desk service to be so good. So I booked another day. The air conditioner in the middle room was broken, so the boss took the initiative to change the room. The cleaning lady was as warm and welcoming as a family member. She took such good care of our family that we felt embarrassed. The hotel is not far from anywhere and has its own parking lot. I had a great time staying in Shenyang this time. Thank you to all the hotel staff and thank you for your service.

LLangrenxilin1. The room was above the bathhouse, but check-in was in the villa area, about a hundred meters away. So I had to walk there to check in, and then walk back to my room. 2. The next day, breakfast was also in the villa area, which was about a ten-minute walk, roughly five or six hundred meters. Another round trip. 3. One room included two hot spring tickets, but check-out was required by 10 AM. You can imagine if you'd even have time to use them. 4. The hot spring ticket was basically an amusement park entry ticket; it just gives you access to the venue. A bottle of mineral water inside costs 8 yuan, and everything else costs extra. It was just inconvenient in every way and completely different from what I imagine a Northeastern Chinese bathhouse to be like. I've been to several other bathhouses, so I'm not new to this. 5. Our group of 5 families and 18 people all felt that the promotion didn't match reality, and the disappointment was significant. It wasn't worth it. Of course, if you treat this place like a water park or amusement park, it might be better.

GGuest UserAn unexpectedly great stay! The room was spacious and bright when we walked in, and you can't beat the feeling of sitting by the window, sipping tea, and watching the sea. I was worried it might be cold in Dalian in winter, but the heating in the room was excellent. The only thing is, the wind by the sea in Dalian is incredibly strong in winter, so it was a bit chilly right by the window. The staff (a young lady) had excellent service. We arrived a little after 12 PM, and since there was a clean room available, she let us check in early. When we asked for an extra quilt later, it was brought over right away. There are so many great food options nearby! Dingxi Sea Urchin Dumplings, Nanshan Fresh Shrimp Noodles, and Well Well American Restaurant were all delicious. It's only a five-minute walk to the beach, which is a perfect spot for feeding seagulls. All in all, we got a sea-view room for five days and four nights for the price of one night during peak season – amazing value for money!

AAnonymous UserMy trip to Dalian was centered around Hard Rock, and more specifically, acquiring pins from the Rock Shop. During check-in, the receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic. Her service had a certain straightforward, welcoming 'Northern style' that was quite refreshing. The room had a small balcony, but I barely noticed it; I dropped my bags and made a beeline for the Rock Shop, as that was the main event. It was just past peak season, so it wasn't crowded. I went straight to the pin display case. When I was taking photos, the staff member thoughtfully opened the case for me, allowing me a clearer view of all the current season's pins. This small gesture instantly revealed he was a fellow collector, truly understanding the mindset of an enthusiast. Upon learning I was particularly fond of the Core Icon series, the staff member immediately brought out some 'store reserves' from the back, which included the Dalian Core Icon and an opening day pin. These were technically not for sale, but noticing there were two Core Icons, I cheekily pleaded with him to let me have one. After navigating several internal approvals, my new friend went out of his way to make an exception for me, and I finally got my wish! The Hard Rock pin collecting community is incredibly small, and we even discovered we had mutual friends when we chatted! So when he said, '成人之美' – essentially, 'it's a pleasure to help someone achieve their desire' – it perfectly captured the mutual respect and camaraderie that runs through our small community of collectors. My heartfelt thanks! If you're a fellow pin enthusiast, you absolutely must come and check it out, and have a chat with the store manager in person. That's where true passion and dedication truly shine. Oh, and remember the manager's name – Rock Shop Michael Jackson!

TTata WattAbsolutely worth every penny! I can sum up my stay in one word: exceptional value. The room was very spacious with a million-dollar view, all at a very friendly price. There is a washing machine in the room, and hot water was not an issue at all during winter. Just a small tip: avoid showering while the washing machine is running, as it seems to draw the hot water away. At first, I thought there was a food warmer or stove, but this room does not have one. However, the staff kindly allowed us to use the microwave at the office. The host was incredibly helpful and always replied very quickly on WeChat — so fast that I honestly wondered if they ever slept! 😄 The bedding was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was smooth and flexible; we could easily request cleaning or refills on the days we needed them. If there is one area for improvement, I would suggest renovating some details, such as repainting areas where the paint is peeling and re-sealing the sink edges and other parts of the bathroom. There was a slight cigarette smell in the room, but it really depends on how sensitive you are. For us, opening the window for ventilation or using a spray solved the issue easily. Some noise from other areas was noticeable, as there is a gym on the same floor, and during our stay it was New Year’s, so there were some party noises. That said, this can happen anywhere and is not something the property can fully control. Getting there was easy — we took a taxi directly to the hotel address. Check-in is on the 23rd floor, Room 19, where they provide the room number and access code. Wi-Fi is available, and only a passport is needed for registration. For check-out, simply notify them via WeChat. Around the hotel, there are a few small local eateries within walking distance, though we did not notice a convenience store nearby. Overall, I would rate this place excellent. I’m not judging it by hotel star standards, but by value for money — and what we received was far beyond what we paid for. Highly recommended!
