"It is one of the iconic hotels in Taipei with magnificent structure and views. However on the day of our check in, there was a kindergarteners graduation party. With 100+ children running and screaming in the lobby area makes me feel like I am in a fish market not an upscale hotel. If the Libby manager or Conceirge can step in to control the crowd, it would have been a better experience for me . The buffet restaurant has extensive selection of food and they all tasted great. The musicians at the lobby performed well during my stay and it wasa pleasure sitting in the lobby to enjoy the music. The secret pathways are pleasant surprises. But the tours are not for people with walking issues since participants needs to walk down 70+ steps to get a full view of the secret pathways. I highly recommend staying here."

"The room was clean and comfortable, but I would have preferred a more spacious room. Some room types also do not have a wardrobe or closet for hanging clothes, which was a little inconvenient. The underground passage connecting to Taipei Main Station closes quite early (around 8:00 PM), making access less convenient in the evening. On the positive side, the hotel building provides excellent protection from heavy rain and strong winds during typhoon conditions, which made our stay more comfortable."

"It was a little disappointing when the receptionist was being quite unprofessional as I approached her for a spare room card. She told me that the guest was British after I told her my surname meaning that she didn't consider that a Chinese person can be British, how backwards and ****** such behavior this is. Lack of exposure might be the answer ;however, I was expecting a lot more from a 4 star establishment. Must I stress that the reason we conversed in Mandarin is a respect to the local staff yet it always backfires in situation like this. More training should be provided."

"Excellent location and friendly hardworking staff. But this is one of the worst hotel I have stayed in. The room has the necedsary furniture but they are run.down. The owner apparently only cares about himself. For an example I have posted a photo of curtain with holes. The bed was firm but ok. The bathroom was actually not bad. Only strange thing was that there was no toilet roll holder. There never was one as there are no holes on the wall either. Housekeeping worked hard but with the state of the room, there's only so much they can do. The breakfast was strange. If something ran out they are instructed not to refill I guess. Even the coffee machine just gives you a slightly coloured water. Someone complained about bed bugs in some review, but we had no such problem. With an excellent location, I regret to say that the hotel is in a pathetic state. As the owner only likes to count money. So sad."

"The breakfast spread was amazing! If I could rate this hotel for breakfast, it would be 10/10 because of the variety and the service provided. The dining area was seated based on senior citizens, families with young children, ********* couples, foreigners. So people could dine in peace or have access to the food easily. The only setback was the dust in the room which is shown in the photos, they could have cleaned the lights and aircond vent and ensure that the vacuum for the carpet was clean."

"I had a very satisfying three-day, two-night stay at Bancheng Pulv Hotel. The hotel is newly opened, so the overall environment is very new. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was clean and bright, and the facilities were all in excellent condition, making for a very comfortable stay. The rooms were simply yet stylishly designed, with well-planned space, comfortable beds, and complete amenities, making them suitable for both short trips and business stays. The biggest advantage of a new hotel is its modern facilities, and I could feel the hotel's dedication to environmental maintenance during my stay. The location is also a major highlight. Huangshi Market is right downstairs, and the surrounding area is full of local restaurants. Whether it's breakfast, snacks, dinner, or late-night meals, there are plenty of options, allowing you to easily sample Banqiao's local delicacies. The amenities are incredibly convenient. Overall, Bancheng Pulv Hotel performed very well in terms of accommodation quality, cleanliness, and location. The modern and comfortable environment left a very good impression. If I ever visit Banqiao again, this hotel will definitely be one of my top choices, and I will definitely return!"

"Pool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately."

"My room itself is relatively larger than most hotels in Taipei. It is warmly lit with a large bed, two pillows (plus an extra one). It has a huge window and a view of the neighboring buildings, but the sun reflects on that tall building in the morning and it’s pretty. Amenities include shampoo and body wash plus a lot of towels. But I didn’t find bathrobes, no comb, razor, toothbrush. You have to bring those personal things for yourself. What I love about this hotel the most is that it has a connecting bridge/pathway to Banqiao Bus Station and Banqiao MRT Station. So when it rains, it’s super convenient to walk to your hotel. I love this! I’m staying here again when I come back."
