"Overall, the stay was good. The hotel has a great location and the rooms are spacious. The room decor is a bit dated, but the Wi-Fi was excellent. The hotel has an ice rink, which is a good option if you want to learn to ice skate. The breakfast was ordinary and nothing special."

"1st time booking at Sunway Pyramid Hotel. Great to stay here. The gym at the Sunway Resort at the Sunset Terrace was good and love it. It is super long weekend in Malaysia and couple with School Holidays for Singapore and Malaysia too. I believe Hotel should have open up additional breakfast kiosk at the ballroom to cater for the overwhelmed occupancy rate. 31st May 2026, we were surprised to waited in the long queue to get into Sunset Terrace for our breakfast. Staffs are really done their best to make sure everything is in order but food replenishment are slow. Should have improved in the area."

"1st time to Mossaz, previous one was Paxtonz. Difference is just amenities, very tiny details that'll make your stay a little nicer. I'll say Paxtonz is better. But all in still very very good value compared to hotel for the same price. Paid rm85/day for 7 nights. - had sofa - plug points on each side of bed - bedside table each side - toilet rack for clothes - mini stove - house key insert at the door instead of going inside to turn on lights - wall decor Parking whole day flat rate rm6. First 3hrs rm21, next 3hrs rm2. Tng/card accepted. 4 levels parking, plentiful. EV charge available too."

"On the day I checked in, I came back at night to find my room had been cleaned and all my belongings were gone. When I asked at the front desk, they said it might have been a system error and they thought the previous guest had checked out, so they sent someone to clean it. 1. A five-star hotel claims they have a system issue. 2. The cleaning staff clearly saw it was an occupied room, yet they directly took our things without even asking. 3. They just left our belongings in the concierge public area downstairs, claiming there's CCTV so nothing would go missing. 4. They said it was all sorted, but when I got back to the room, my key card wouldn't work. I had to go back down again. It was already midnight, and I was dragging my luggage up and down. 5. During checkout, they tried to charge a foreign fee, but I'm Malaysian. I really don't understand how their system records things. I was looking forward to a pleasant stay at a five-star hotel, but this happened on the very first night. The management and front desk really need to improve. Although I did get a free breakfast in the end, I've stayed in at least 20-30 hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered something like this. Even 3 or 4-star hotels are better. Really a very bad experience here."

The Sama-Sama Hotel, a 5-star property, has been around for a long time and its facilities are a bit dated, while other airport hotels have rooms that are too small. For travelers transiting through Kuala Lumpur or needing an overnight stay, I highly recommend the ibis Styles Sepang KLIA – it's excellent! When I first saw the 4.4 rating on Trip.com, I didn't have high expectations, thinking the facilities would be very ordinary. However, my actual stay completely exceeded them, offering a surprisingly great experience! This hotel, newly opened in 2024, is exceptionally well-maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the overall design is resort-style, with lush greenery everywhere. Upon entering, you're greeted by a fresh, botanical scent, completely devoid of the usual oppressive and stuffy feeling of typical airport hotels 🍃. There’s a wide selection of room types. Solo travelers can choose a standard king or twin room, with 26㎡ of spacious, uncrowded comfort. Couples or friends can upgrade to a Superior room, and for families, the Family room with one king and one single bed can accommodate up to three people. There's also a windowless Deluxe King room, perfect for those just needing a temporary stopover and planning to rest indoors during the day. Accessible rooms are also available for guests with mobility needs. Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a separate shower and bathroom, and a safe. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, perfectly adequate for daily living and work. The amenities are top-notch. There's a large outdoor infinity pool with a shallow kids' area, complete with loungers and parasols – it's incredibly relaxing to soak in the pool and watch the sunset in the evening. The green courtyard area is expansive, perfect for an evening stroll to unwind. Real-life room photos look much better than the online pictures. The décor is positioned at a 4-star standard, but the comfort of the mattresses, soft furnishings, and bathrooms definitely rivals 5-star properties. The only major drawback is the rather poor soundproofing. You can clearly hear guests walking and talking in the hallway, and noises from adjacent rooms. Coupled with the roar of planes taking off and landing, light sleepers can easily be woken up in the middle of the night. The location is incredibly convenient, just 1 km from KLIA airport. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the airport with fixed schedules; remember to register and book at the front desk before check-in. It's a 5-minute drive to Mitsui Outlet Park, so you can stop by for some shopping during your layover. Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers needing an overnight airport stay. It's half the price of the 5-star Sama-Sama KLIA in the same area, yet its hardware, environment, and amenities are more modern and comprehensive, making for a great transit experience 👍."

"Word count: Around 370 I stayed at Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA for an overnight business trip between flights, and every single category—cleanliness, surroundings, service and facilities—deserves a full five stars. It sits right next to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, which saved me so much trouble rushing for my early flight the next morning. No long taxi rides or stressful early wake-ups; I could walk to the terminal easily without worrying about traffic delays. The building has a stunning, eye-catching curved exterior, and the whole hotel grounds are full of tropical greenery, creating a peaceful, resort-like vibe that makes you forget you’re just steps away from a busy airport. My superior twin room was spotlessly clean. Housekeeping did an incredible job sanitizing every corner, from the bathroom floor to the desk and window sills. The beds are plush with soft linens, and the sound insulation works perfectly—aircraft noise from the runway barely seeps in, letting me enjoy a solid night’s sleep after a tiring international flight. All bathroom fixtures, electrical outlets and workspace facilities are well-maintained and fully functional, ideal for business travellers who need to sort out work emails in the room. The hotel staff are incredibly warm and efficient. Front desk agents handled my check-in and check-out rapidly with fluent English, patiently answering all my questions about airport shuttle times and local transport.
