Overall, the service was very good: friendly staff, quick to help, and always with a good attitude. The facilities are well maintained, with several dining options and plenty of areas to relax. The food was better than expected, especially at the à la carte restaurants—well presented dishes and great taste. Ideal for solo vacationing, couples or families looking for a large all-inclusive resort with an amazing beach and a calm atmosphere. I would definitely come back."

"I booked two rooms; please refer to my other review with six photos for details. Since there were three of us, we opted for two rooms with three beds. The hotel has two tour agencies offering activities, so be sure to bargain for the best deals. Also, the fruit-flavored cigars sold in their shop are quite good; I particularly enjoyed the cherry and orange flavors."

I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Other than that i like the resort and the food. Add up some activities for the night like party and cool music please."

"I felt like I was in paradise!! I enjoyed my stay so so much. I didn’t even want to leave. The food was amazing (only tried Food market, beach house and the sports bar for food) I didn’t even feel like trying the restaurants because Foodmarket was that good in my opinion. There were free drinks all days and nights, and A LOT of entertainments. I met new friends because of the entertainments. It was right on the beach. The only things I had a little issue with was the beds. I really don’t like to sleep with just a sheet and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room so I was eaten up every morning. And if you need to buy a lotion and a new sunblock you need to pay 90 USD for that and that I feel is a big scam (pricing for everything that’s not included are extremely expensive!!)"

"We were hosted at the hotel Bakour and our experience was absolutely exceptional. Since we arrived, the staff made us feel like at home. The attention was of high quality, familiar and extremely careful. They were always ready to help us with whatever we needed. The reception was particularly highly high thanks to Kimberly's friendlyness and efficiency, who greeted us every day and kept us informed about the activities of the hotel. Your personalized attention and your willingness to help us at any time were essential for our stay. But what really loved us was the staff's attitude in general. From Manuel, the tours seller who became a friend and made us several gifts without commit, even the bar and buffet boys, such as Jazmín and Joan, who were always attentive and kind. Even Junior, who worked at night, was extremely social and made us feel part of the family. We were very happy to have a nice and comfortable room, and we were very happy to have a nice room. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. In short, the hotel is worth the 5-stars with a great deal of cressing, staff is very careful and carefully concerned about the guests' experience. "Upon arrival i found out that Trip.com botch my reservation. i booked a garden suite that offered a king bed or two doubles. My search was 1 room 2 adults i was giving Punta Cana. princess suites. the resort refuse to check me and my sister in because a phone rep told me that my booking was good for two. had to use my spending money to pay extra cause Trip.com did not put my sister on the booking. food was nasty, cold and picked over. fresh food was not put out often enough. Flies were all over the food. wait staff at the steak house was rude and nasty. Refuse to correct my order after they messed it up. Spent an entire night hungry. beautiful spot but will never go to this resort again nor will i book with trip.com"

"The hotel was fabulous in that it was clean, spacious, modern, and had a calm business vibe. It is set outside of the main Madrid attractions, which is nice for business travelers. If you are traveling to see the sites, you will need to take an Uber/ taxi, which is about 15-20 minutes per traffic and time of day. It's not bad, but not ideal if you want to walk out from your hotel and be in the action. Apart from location, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a modern vibe, and has some cool restaurants located around its vicinity. Im a huge fan of AC hotels now because of this beauty we stayed at in Madrid! Although its kinda far from the attractions, I'd still return and stay at this location again and refer it to future travelers!"

GGuest UserThis was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!😊). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutes👆🤣). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get them🙈. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachers😅 Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! They always ask you how you are, remember your orders and bring them before you think about it. Mariia Soriano and Andy from lobby bar- the smiliest girl and boy ever! Thank you for your Russian and Ukrainian, keep learning, next time I come I will check up on your progress! 🤣 Animation team- you are beyond human abilities!!! Fly yoga, yoga on surf boards, volleyball, water polo(I think it was water polo😅), water bikes in the swimming pool, sexy dancing, jumping on little trampolines..Ruben & Jason, my sister Debora(best breeds from you!❤)and my evening salsa teacher Coca -Cola(don't lose uno in bachata anymore😉). Love you guys! 🥰 I will always remember all of you, how you invited to take part in the activities, how you were showing everything step by step, your patience, your unique personalities. The best chef on this planet Wander Montilla with amazingly beautifully looking and heavenly tasting dishes. 😋 Thank you for your unforgettable dinner at the stake house restaurant! Also, the cooking show in Asian restaurant is worth seeing! The food is amazing and the products are high quality. We are more than happy with our rest!

GGuest UserWe had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

GGuest UserThe resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didn’t work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. The resort has potential if they stopped it up on service, food, drinks and entertainment.

HHerreraThe hotel does not look like the pictures. When I got yo my room, on the first night my room smelled of urine, as if person who was belied me peed and the hotel doesn’t clean it. It was unbearable, I had to ask reception to come and sort it out because I wasnt going to be able to sleep with that smell. The housekeeper came and she swiped the floor and it was much better. The toilet handle was broken despite the water flushing. The room smelled out humidity. Not very sure of they changed the sheets needles I got there or even after. The food was all artificial food, nothing organic. All drinks were from those sachets. Even the sprite tasted different :/ On NYE the food was much better, there were good choices, but still artificial. Overall, it wasn’t that bad, a lot of people seemed to be okay with it. I am very picky so I notice everything.
