"Reception first said that we hadn't paid, then they only had one room for us, even though we had booked two. Then the two rooms were on different floors. At 10 p.m. a hotel employee came into the room when we were already asleep. She had apparently got the room wrong, she said. You have to use the employee elevator and walk through the kitchen. Very strange."

Pour le prix de 20 euros ce n’est pas normal de devoir réclamer pour avoir du bacon ou des œufs. Nous avons du attendre à plusieurs reprises pour avoir les aliments! C’est un peu dommage!"

DDadanThe room is large and clean. It is fully equipped, with kitchenware and a gas stove. It is on the 7th floor with a large terrace where you can dine outdoors and enjoy the view. It is located in the city center, with many attractions within a 15-minute walk and a large supermarket within a 5-minute walk. The landlord is very enthusiastic and picked us up on time. There is a garage. The only problem is that there are not many spare quilts.

CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

GGuest UserHad a change of plans and was not able to make this trip to Reims and therefore wanted to try cancel with Trip.com despite booking a non cancellable reservation. In the end, it was sadly not possible as the parties involved were unwilling to be accommodating so in the end I had to rearrange my schedule to avoid losing USD 200.  The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. He suggested we use the entrance with the ramp to bring up our luggage instead of the more conspicuous swing doors.  The room was on 6F and was ok. For the price I was hoping for more space. There is a weird shelf ledge against the wall where the TV is that was spanning across multiple walls that was annoying and dangerous since it was set at around 1.5 meters high off the ground. I bumped my shoulder a few times so it really is a hazard and should be removed if it isn’t purposeful.  The room is otherwise furnished in a modern and simple way. Wooden floors and plain wall tiles make it look clean and well kept.  The LED lighting strips in the walls and ceiling are distracting and would be better to be removed. It’s hard to watch TV with the glare and reflections off the flatscreen.  Minimal amenities and breakfast not included. Shower pressure was not strong and so I took longer than usual. All in all, I would imagine this to be 20-30% cheaper for what was on offer in terms of experience and furnishings.

GGuest UserThe apartment was very nice.well furnished including the kitchen. It's located right by the border to Switzerland making it easy to visit Switzerland and Germany at anytime via Basel. There are shops right in front of the Hotel so you can cook your own breakfast. They also have a swimming pool which was great to get some cardio in during the cold. Only disappointment was that I left shoes in the apartment and the reception claimed they weren't brought so I was sad about this. Otherwise Id highly recommend ☺️👍

李李李圓園The location is good, just across the bridge is the Notre Dame Cathedral. However, if you drive by yourself, only licensed vehicles can enter the area near the hotel. It is renovated on a historical building. The exposed wooden building is very unique and the experience is good. Although there is no elevator, there are staff who take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. Street parking in Strasbourg is very expensive, 3.5 euros an hour; hotel parking lot 30 euros a day; the hotel introduced a nearby parking lot, parking for about 16 hours, 16 euros.

AAnonymous UserHonestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The reading light at my bed didn’t work and it never got fixed even after I told the staff. The rain shower was impossible to adjust — the water was way too hot. No hair dryer available either. The bed also had a weird sticky smell which wasn’t pleasant. Pros: Location is great, easy walking distance to main attractions like Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The building and neighborhood look nice. Common space atmosphere is great and hype. Average service from teenager staffs.

RRAQUEL PATTERSONThe hotel’s location was very helpful, especially because it is right in front of the train station. This made arriving at night much easier, especially when it was difficult to find someone who could speak English and guide us. The hotel staff were very nice, especially Mary. The only challenge was the bathroom. The tub was small and slippery, and the half glass door did not fully prevent water from spilling out, so the floor became wet whenever we showered.
