Should you bring children: The Cloud-top Prairie is a large playground suitable for both adults and children in all seasons. However, children with insufficient physical strength and height can't participate in most of the adult activities. Throughout the day, I heard various parents complaining that it's very tiring to bring children along, so it's not recommended. Children over 1.4 meters can participate in some more challenging activities, so they can be brought along. 2. What to play: The Cloud-top Prairie is a high-mountain amusement park, divided into a non-powered playground and a cliff-thrilling playground. The non-powered one is at the foot of the mountain, and the cliff is at the top. You can play normally in summer and autumn, and in spring and winter, you can go skiing (beginner, intermediate, advanced), but friends say skiing is more fun in the north (the famous Changbai Mountain). 3. Opening time: Many people online say it opens at 9 am, but when I bought the ticket, it was said to open at 7 am. However, the taxi driver told us that it actually opens at 6:30 am, and indeed it does. We arrived at the park entrance around 7:15 am to queue for the bus and there were already twenty or thirty people in line. So I really, really suggest arriving before 7:30 am, and you basically won't have to queue for anything. 4. Where to eat and stay: (1) Stay: No matter where you stay, sort out your own breakfast. You can stay in a homestay, which is generally in the village. I suggest calling a taxi as soon as you get up (I tested that the DiDi applet is faster and more expensive than Gaode, and Alipay Travel is also linked with Gaode). Our price was getting up at 6:30 am. If you don't want to get up early, you can stay at a hotel near the Cloud-top Prairie. I saw there were some at the park entrance, but they looked quite old, and I didn't research the prices, so everyone can compare for themselves. If you're not considering the price, you can stay at the 168 Starry Sky Hotel inside the park, because the ticket is valid for two days, and staying one night is just right. (2) Eat: There are quite a few restaurants in the park, at the cable car square at the foot of the mountain, and there are also eight rooms on the mountain (eight snack shops, dumplings, drinks, noodles, burgers, etc., for replenishing energy). It's said online that you should bring your own dry food, but if you want to have a good time, I don't recommend bringing your own. It's already tiring to climb the mountain with nothing, let alone carrying so much stuff, and it's also inconvenient to keep your belongings while playing. You can bring some paper for the toilet and water. Looking at the map, there are a total of 7 toilets, so drink less water and go light.
