Jilin Changbai Mountain - Green Abyss Lake

Green Abyss Lake is located in the northern slope scenic area of Changbai Mountain, within the Betula platyphylla landscape belt. Due to the shade of Betula platyphylla, the lake is named for its deep green water. The waterfall of Green Abyss Lake falls straight down, with the highest drop reaching 26 meters. The waterfall splashes on the boulders and then flows into the deep pool. Whenever the mist rises, the water mist on the lake is filled, blending with the tall Betula platyphylla and ancient boulders, which is breathtakingly beautiful, just like a fairyland in the world. The northern slope scenic area of Changbai Mountain is located in Erdaobaihe Town, Antu County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province.
