A romantic date with the magnolia flowers in the springtime around Chengdu

Every year at this time, the magnolia flowers on Jiuhuang Mountain bloom beautifully, and this year was no exception as my boyfriend and I checked in at the 20th Magnolia Flower Festival (opposite the main scenic area at Huaxi Scenic Spot). Different from previous years, the magnolia flowers bloomed a little later this year, but now that I'm here, the mountains are still beautifully covered with pink and purple magnolia flowers. This time, we went straight to the viewing platform, lit a pot for boiling tea, and sat under the trees among the flowers to enjoy the tea and blossoms. Seeing many people taking photos in Qiang costumes, I couldn't resist trying on an outfit that 'blended' with the magnolia flowers. There's also a special event recently: if you wear Hanfu or ethnic costumes to visit Jiuhuang Mountain from March 8 to April 14 (during the Huaxi Scenic Spot opening period), you get free admission to the scenic area! (On March 23, free admission to the scenic area + Huaxi Scenic Spot sightseeing car ticket). This offer lasts until March 23. I hadn't been taking photos for long when I heard that there would be flash mob events at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm every day at the main viewing platform of Huaxi Scenic Spot and Wang's Courtyard. There would be lively folk performances, and since I was right by the viewing platform, I managed to get a great spot to watch the show. The festival atmosphere during the performance was particularly strong, and everyone was very enthusiastic, even clamoring for more after it ended, haha. After the performance, we went to the Yunzhong Farm Restaurant on the back mountain. They launched a 'Wild Food·Spring Day Wild Feast' hot pot set meal, all original wild flavors. Although I might not be used to some of the tastes, the overall experience was very good.
