Longshui Gorge Rift, embark on a journey to the heart of the earth

The rift valley that is even more beautiful than the sinkhole scenic area - the famous sinkhole rift in Wulong, Chongqing, is actually two completely different scenic areas. It's just that most travel groups habitually visit them together, and since there is a direct bus from the sinkhole to the rift, I even thought they were the same scenic area before I came. Both scenic areas have their own beauty, but I think the rift is more beautiful than the sinkhole. 🚩Rift Full name: Longshui Gorge Rift Scenic Area A rift-style canyon, part of the Wulong Karst World Natural Heritage. The total length is 5 kilometers, and the tour route is about 2 kilometers. Along the way, you can see the deep underground rivers, the tall and oppressive Jiaolong Cold Cave, and a waterfall with an 80-meter drop. The canyon is very cool, making it a great place to escape the summer heat. ⛳️Tour route: It takes about 3-4 hours to walk, play, and take photos in the rift scenic area. The route in the rift scenic area is mostly downhill, with very few uphill walkways, and the difficulty of hiking is below average. The visitor center has buses going to both the sinkhole and rift scenic areas. There are far fewer visitors who go directly to the rift because there is a direct bus from the sinkhole to the rift, while you must return to the visitor center to go to the sinkhole. ⚠️Note: The one-way bus from the visitor center to the rift scenic area takes more than half an hour, so please allow ample time. If you have enough time, it is most comfortable to visit the two scenic areas on separate days. If you only have one day, it is recommended to stay overnight at Fairy Mountain, go directly to the rift in the early morning, rest at noon, and then visit the sinkhole in the afternoon. This way, you can avoid most of the travel groups and have a relaxed visit.
