The sacred paths of Mount Wudang ascend and descend

Mount Wudang is a famous Taoist mountain and the birthplace of Wudang martial arts, known as 'an unparalleled scenic spot since ancient times, the number one immortal mountain in the world.' The emperor bestowed the titles 'Grand Peak' and 'Mysterious Peak of the Governing Age' upon Mount Wudang, and it is revered as the 'Imperial Family Temple.' Mount Wudang is world-famous for its status as 'the crown of the Five Sacred Mountains,' where 'all four famous mountains bow and pay respects, and the five directional sacred peaks gather to worship.' To ascend the mountain, you take a bus to Qiongtai, then a cable car to the Golden Summit. There are too many pilgrims at the Golden Summit, and many people draw lots, so I immediately descend the mountain and sit by the city wall at the city gate to wait for people. To enjoy the view, I walk down the mountain by myself, passing through the first, second, and third mountain gates. The steps are very steep, an endless loop of ascending and descending. The number of steps going down is the same as going up. In ancient times, these sacred paths must have been a required course for those with martial arts skills, which I admire. Upon reaching Nanyan, I take a bus to the Zixiao Palace, no longer having the energy to climb, and take a car back, spending a total of 5 hours.
