Florence Falls Florence Falls
Darwin is the capital of Northern Australia and a relatively famous tourist city. The British biologist Charles Robert Darwin visited this place in 1839, so the city was named after him. Originally a place of residence for indigenous people, it was developed rapidly after the discovery of gold mines in the 1970s. In 1974, it was severely damaged by the hurricane and later rebuilt to become a beautiful and highly developed city with modern streets and buildings. .
In 2012, Lonely Planet described Darwin: There are fascinating night scenes, magical markets and restaurants, world-class outdoor deserts. In the same year, Darwin was ranked among the top 10 best cities in the world. The city of Darwin is very small. I drove from the airport to the hotel in the center of the city, only about twenty minutes. Here I tried two hotels, Hilton Hotels and Doubletree by Hilton. The DoubleTree by Hilton is a little bit but not far away, just ten minutes walk from the busiest Mitchell Street in the city centre. Hardware and food are average, but parking is convenient and free.
During the Second World War, Darwin was bombed by the Japanese army as an allied base. It was the only city in Australia that had experienced war. But this is not the only disaster in Darwins short history of more than two hundred years. On Christmas Day 1974, a typhoon named Tracy almost destroyed the entire city. The damage caused by this disaster far exceeded the Japanese army during World War II. What you did. As a tourist, we must know that Darwin is not only a warm and romantic seaside town, but also a city that has suffered twice.

During the hot days of Darwin's hot sun, if you don't want to go to the beach to bathe in the sun, I suggest you go to the Crocodile Canyon theme park to kill time. Especially for families with children, this crocodile park in the city is a good place to go, because children are always full of contradictory curiosity and fear of large creatures such as crocodiles and dinosaurs. In addition to knowing some crocodile-related knowledge, this crocodile park also has a very special experience called Death Cage, which brings the contact between humans and crocodiles to the limit. In this project, you will enter a transparent cylinder and be placed in a pool with a huge crocodile. In order to increase the irritation, the staff will also bring a crocodile to your side with a piece of raw meat. The unknowing crocodile will jump up and show you a predator, and a professional photographer will capture it for you. This intense moment.
The most exciting thing to do in Darwin is that the crocodile jumped on a cruise. Drive from the hotel to the meeting point, about 20 minutes. Although Darwin is not big, there are a lot of crocodiles. Both freshwater crocodiles and saltwater crocodiles are available. Most of the time, people are not allowed to enter the water at will. Crocodiles can attack people, and there are similar accidents every year, so don't go swimming in the sea at will - the boat is out of the dock, which is the river. If it wasn't for the staff on board, I would really ignore the lurking crocodile. They are very familiar and will always remind us where there are crocodiles - every crocodile has its own territory. When the ship passes through the territory of another crocodile, the crocodile will look at it ~ Every crocodile staff will name them, but these The overlord in the water is really in front of the beef. . Too much to be said. .

Arts Sculpture Hunting In Botanics Darwin
Darwin has a botanical garden located right close to the city centre, or just 10-15mins drive away from the airport.
The botanical garden here is very different from the other botanical Gardens you see world wide where there are gorgeous colourful flowers located all around you, but George Bush botanical garden focus more towards plants, trees and uniquely shaped roots.
In the park you will be able to find the famously huge crocodile sculpture, the dragon courtyard where you be able to spot the dragon sculptures, Cycad garden/dinosaur trial where you have to physically spot the dinosaurs as they will not be close to the paved walkway, but instead located inside the bushes.
