My friend and I traveled to Detian Waterfall on the China-Vietnam border, drawn by its reputation. Our plan was to start from Nanning, passing through Dongnayu Bay and Mingshi Pastoral, before finally reaching Detian Waterfall. After careful planning, we chose Mingyue Mountain Lodge, located between Detian Waterfall and Mingshi Pastoral. It's just a short drive from both the roar of Detian Waterfall and the tranquility of Mingshi Pastoral. No need to get up early in the morning; enjoy a breakfast prepared by the owner, and a leisurely 30-minute drive will take you to Detian Waterfall. Nearby is the less-visited but photogenic Shengquan Valley, less crowded and perfect for taking pictures. Mingshi Pastoral is also only 4 kilometers away, making it convenient to go anywhere. The room was very clean and fully equipped. Even without leaving the room, you can enjoy tea and mountain views. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are perfect for photos. A smart toilet and bathtub are also provided. After a long day of travel, a relaxing soak after a meal of organic farm-style food is perfect to wash away all your fatigue.
