Maybe because I didn’t have high expectations, being there repeatedly refreshed the happiest moments of my life. 🎣 NPCs naturally blended in Riding a bamboo raft in Mingshi Tianyuan, listening to the auntie on the shore singing mountain songs, the resting cows and the flute-playing uncle remained undisturbed, focused on their own worlds. I saw the Buddha-shaped Backrest Mountain, the fishing old man quietly sitting under Detian Waterfall... Suddenly, it felt like I had a god’s-eye view, observing others and myself. Every NPC in front of me had no grand narrative, but they exuded a calm and charming power. Maybe this is the meaning of life: feeling the sunshine, the shadows of trees, the flowing water... the unity of heaven and man. Seeing the monkeys was a matter of chance, and we were lucky to see them. Watching them leisurely sitting and eating leaves, even swinging on a swing, I recalled from the exhibition that the monkeys once migrated because of tectonic plate movements and could never return to their original homeland. That sadness was dispelled. Perhaps settling in Chongbei is fate. The forest guardians like Uncle Xu are also protecting them with care.
