Chengdu's winter makes one want to burst into song: I really want to escape, but I can't run away🥶 At this time, we must call upon Chengdu's three winter treasures: the sun, snow, and hot springs♨️ - The sun and snow are at the mercy of Mother Nature🔥 I've almost tried all the hot springs around Sichuan's Chengdu, but my personal favorite has to be the Huashuiwan Hot Springs at Haihui Temple♻️: - This 'Huashuiwan Hot Springs Town'🏰, filled with European style and characterized by red-roofed white buildings, is located in Dayi, a 2-hour drive from downtown Chengdu🚙 The hot springs are known as 'Heavenly Wonder Springs' and are sulfur hot springs, containing more than a dozen trace elements needed by the human body, with temperatures reaching up to 68℃♨️ - Opening hours📍 09:00-23:00, suitable for someone like me who needs both morning and evening dips, and also helps to avoid the early morning rush; Hot spring water quality📍 The water is ancient sea sulfur hot springs. The smell and mineral impurities are authentic Rich variety of pools📍 The outdoor Băilè Soup pools number over 30, secretly scattered amidst the natural undulating landscape; - ♨️Hot spring experience: When I went, there were three larger pools with clear water, and many smaller pools with sulfur water, which had a stronger smell. We chose the clear water. The top pool had flowing water in the afternoon, but it turned stagnant at night. The middle one is hotter, too much for most people, and the most conspicuous pool by the road was crowded, and although it's the most photogenic, we didn't go because it was too crowded. - ♨️Hot spring tips: 1⃣️Off-peak timing: Weekdays are less crowded than weekends, and daytime is less crowded than nighttime. 2⃣️Always bring water when going to hot springs!
