Dongyang River Riverside Park in the Severe Cold: Wetland Park

It wasn't until December 16th that winter was officially announced in various places in Zhejiang. On that day, the temperature dropped by more than 20 degrees. The late-arriving winter started off with a fierce attitude. Indeed, with the north wind blowing overnight, the ground was covered with yellow leaves. Spring comes, summer grows, autumn harvests, winter stores, and it's unknown how well the parks along the Dongyang River have 'stored' themselves, so I braved the cold wind to take a look. The Dongyang River flows through the city, and along both sides of the river in the urban area, there are various parks with an east-west span of 14 kilometers and a north-south span of over 1 kilometer. The larger parks include the Wetland Park, Geshan Huashui Park, Festival Square, Baigong Garden, Jiangdi Chunxiao, Pride Square, Citizens' Garden, People's Park, People's Square, Parent-Child Park, and others. The Wetland Park is located on the south bank of the Dongyang River, east of Shankou Bridge, west of Linjiang Bridge, and 1.3 kilometers from the Dongyang China Woodcarving Museum. The Yidong Yong Expressway passes by one side of the park. Here, there are ponds with rippling blue waves and lush aquatic plants, as well as winding, quaint streams full of wild interest. In the early winter, the Wetland Park's ginkgo, hibiscus, coral trees, and Chinese tallow trees have shed their splendid attire; the pond cypress and maple trees are still 'flushed with red'; the aquatic beauties want to smile foolishly in the cold wind, but the gardeners have already started 'tidying' them up... The Wetland Park in winter, although 'windy and bleak', is not 'bitterly cold'. Green, yellow, red, gray, purple, all kinds of colors blend together, forming romantic paintings.
