Atlantis The Palm

Atlantis, The Palm is a 1,548-room ocean-themed destination resort. Spectacularly situated on the crescent of Dubai's iconic Palm Island. With views across Dubai’s iconic skyline and Arabian sea, this majestic resort offers unique rooms and unforgettable experiences for everyone. The good bits: glass floor-to-ceiling area where you can view fish, sharks, rays swimming by day and night; good assortment of breakfast buffet; views across the Dubai skyline or across the sea from high level rooms, easy access to the water park, the water park itself is very good and clean with excellent staff (you don't need to stay at Atlantis to go to the water park), large swimming pool, Wavehouse bar/restaurant, rooms have what you need and very clean (although if you are put in an interconnecting room you can hear everything next door). Onsite Nobu and Hakkasan restaurants were a godsend. The hotel has good facilities, probably everything you can think of!
