The ruins of Heicheng, where one can sense the passage of time

The ruins of Heicheng are located in the territory of Ejina Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and were listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 2001. Heicheng was built in the 9th century and was the site of the 'Heishan Weifu Military Command' during the Western Xia Dynasty, and the Yuan Dynasty set up the Yijinai Road administration there. This place was once a strategic point on the ancient road of Juyan.
