In Hefei, hiking in the mountains and visiting temple fairs can heal spiritual exhaustion

March 27-31 is the time for the temple fair at Mount Zipeng in Hefei. The last time I attended a temple fair was probably when I was still in school, and the lively and fun atmosphere of the fair is still very vivid in my memory. ⬇️Therefore, even though it was raining on the first day of the fair, I rushed to Mount Zipeng and then hiked in the mountains for a day. At the foot of the mountain, the square was filled with traditional market stalls offering delicious snacks, ring toss games, and other amusements, as well as colorful Feixi County folk performances, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and local specialties. ⬇️After hiking, I reached the Xilu Temple on the mountain, where many tourists also participated in Buddhist rituals, and I was able to take many cultural photos. I don't know why, but smelling the incense made me feel exceptionally peaceful, allowing me to forget various work and life worries. ⬇️Because of the rain, I also visited the forest coffee shop in the scenic area, and unexpectedly, this Lu Yue coffee shop was particularly surprising. The coffee shop is really spacious, with many seats on both the upper and lower floors, and it offers great angles for taking photos. The dense trees surrounding the coffee shop create a relaxing atmosphere, and sitting there listening to the rain truly healed my days of spiritual exhaustion. The coffee itself also has many special concoctions, such as brown sugar rose and peanut butter latte, which are quite unique and worth trying. ⚠️Mount Zipeng is not very high, and it takes about an hour to walk and take photos from the foot of the mountain to Xilu Temple. The hike is not strenuous and the path is easy to walk. 🎫Entrance to Mount Zipeng is free, and the coffee shop has no minimum consumption (and there are some promotions to take advantage of recently). 🚍For those driving, just navigate directly to the scenic area.
