Taiping Ancient Town in Gulin, Luzhou is one of them. 📍Location: Taiping Town, Gulin County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province 🌟Mountain ancient town: The entire ancient town is built on the mountain, which can be said to be a unique mountain ancient town in southern Sichuan. Its history can be traced back to the Yelang Kingdom of the pre-Qin period. The existing buildings are mostly dry-column buildings or stilt buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are scattered on the hillside with a strong sense of hierarchy. 🌟Red culture: The current Taiping Ancient Town has also incorporated a layer of red culture. The 'Four Crossings of Chishui' happened between Gulin and Xishui County, Guizhou, which borders it, making Gulin the main battlefield of the Four Crossings of Chishui. The second and fourth crossings all started from Taiping Crossing in Taiping Ancient Town, which is of great significance. 🌟Human life: The ancient town is completely non-commercial, without colorful bars or various foreign merchants, all are local residents. If the timing is right, you can also see lively scenes such as 'going to the market', which is full of life.
