Qinghai has a hidden emerald lake! Scattered beauty on the plateau.

Emerald Lake, also known as Shuicui Lake, is located in Qinghai, China. In Mongolian, it is called "Ikchaidaamu", meaning "Great Salt Lake", and is the "North Gate" of the Qaidam Basin. It is a high-altitude salt lake at an altitude of over 3000 meters, nestled in the snowy plateau. Emerald Lake is not a complete lake, but a group of hundreds of salt pit lakes. The salt pools of different depths are like pieces of "emerald", each with a different color, emerald green, blue-green...crystal clear. Moreover, the lake water will shimmer with different luster as the angle of sunlight changes. These lakes of varying sizes are all pits left behind by years of salt lake mining, like a spilled palette. The quiet surface of the Emerald Lake is like a mirror! The sky is very blue and the clouds are low. It has more dreamlike colors than the Chaka Salt Lake, either azure or emerald green. The reflection taken from here is no less than the sky.
