Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts

It is well known that Vietnam is a tropical country, so it's really hot outside in the summer. Therefore, it is recommended to choose indoor activities such as museums and exhibition halls for weekend outings in Hanoi, and the art museum is a good place to go. From the outside, it doesn't seem very big, but once you enter, you realize it takes at least 3-4 hours to go through (and that's just for a layman like me who's there for the excitement ). For professionals, the time is incalculable. The treasures displayed in the museum include sculptures (wood carvings, root carvings, stone carvings...) and paintings (oil paintings, rock paintings, paper paintings, silk paintings...) as well as cultural relics. The timeline mainly focuses on the French colonial period and the revolutionary period, with themes reflecting the daily life of the people, the revolutionary wars, the celebration of beauty, commemorative thoughts, and aspirations for a better life...
