My experience was so dramatic😭 Rejected by the museum two days in a row— On the first day, I was 10 minutes late due to traffic and wasn’t allowed in before closing; On the second day, I rushed to the much-anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum but was stopped because I hadn’t bought an electronic ticket in advance… I completely broke down and cried‼️ Unexpectedly, this crying brought a turning point— The staff made an exception and let me in to buy souvenirs! Although the exhibition halls were closed, being able to take home a bunch of merchandise was some consolation… 💡Hard-learned lessons: ✅ Be sure to buy electronic tickets on the official website at least 1 day in advance ✅ Avoid peak traffic hours and set off early ✅ Have small change ready for unexpected situations Although I didn’t get to see the exhibition this time, I gained the most special experience.
