A Gem in India - Naddi Village

Getting There - From Amritsar take a long distance bus to Dharamsala (takes about three hours) and from there it’s easy to hop on a local bus to get to Naddi (30 mins max). This small village has got the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets, and also a bunch of beautiful people. I hitchhiked every day down and up the mountains. Before I was never good at appreciating mountains. However, immersing myself in the Himalayas in Naddi has truly been a life-changing experience from which my love for mountains grows - the deep peacefulness, the unique feeling of calm and tranquility, the vastness and stillness, the cleansing and healing powers. The mountains here have guided me to completely turn off my head and mind, and to trek down further into my heart. I have come to connect with a part of me that I have only recently discovered deep in the mountains. For anyone who is a mountain lover, I’d highly recommend to visit Naddi and appreciate the Indian Himalayas from there.
