Located at baling Kedah the cave has spectacular and amazing view. One of the underrated caves in Malaysia. The local village guide was friendly and informative. There are several spot to take pictures inside the caves with colourful spot light. It take about 1-2hrs to explore the multi tiered connecting cave. I think local and state government should takes initiative to improve facilities. #caves #travelmalaysia

Ambong Ambong is a quiet, four-pearl resort hotel that attracts travelers from around the world. The lobby is housed in a simple stand-alone building up a flight of stairs, and features dark-wood floors, a few red Chinese lanterns, and big windows that let in lots of natural light filtered through the property's abundant jungle greenery. A small bar sits off to one side and there are a couple of casual seating ares with low chairs and coffee tables for guests to hang out. Navigating the hilly resort might prove difficult for travelers with compromised mobility (although a driver is available for those who need help getting around). Children under 12 are not allowed, and most of the guests here are vacationing couples. #createwithtrip

The Bayview Hotel Langkawi is a dated, mid-range property that attracts both couples and families, despite that there's little for kids to do on-site. The lobby is outfitted with attractive marble flooring and wooden benches, but the dozens of tiny and larger Malaysian flags are cheesy. The rest of the common areas are furnished with worn, old-fashioned decor, such as the Flamingo Restaurant's various patterns and colors in the armchairs, carpet, and drapery. The outdoor pool is simple and showing age, but it has lovely sea views and potted plants lining the perimeter. The vibe is generally relaxed, though the Woodpecker Lounge is a fun, casual place for guests to catch live entertainment. Note that smoking is not allowed on-site. #createwithtrip

The Bon Ton Resort has just eight stand-alone wooden villas amid lush grounds that include a lotus lagoon, making it feel private and a bit like a residence. The hotel doubles as an animal sanctuary, so there will be cats and dogs roaming the grounds, which is just another way the place feels like home. Couples are attracted to the charm and romantic ambience of the place, plus the 100-year-old rooms are filled with rustic yet stylish furnishings. This chic design also carries over into the restaurant, bars, and common areas. The Holiday Villa Beach Resort & Spa attracts even numbers of families and couples with an excellent location and plenty of amenities on-site. The hotel is largely dated throughout, with some well-worn furnishings, though some locally inspired accents add charm. The busy lobby has hand-carved couches, colorful stained glass, red, patterned area rugs, and dangling ivy. Quirky touches include a giant chess board, dozens of tiny Malaysian flags, and a water fountain topped with a fish. Restaurants and bars have varying style, from charming red-checkered tablecloths and brick walls in Lagenda Coffee House, to bright green and orange retro chairs in the Matahari Lounge. Travelers more interested in the gorgeous beach and pretty pools are likely fine to overlook the outdated design, but it's worth noting that some guests have reported unpleasant smells in various public areas and rooms. #createwithtrip

The Tanjung Rhu Resort is a stand-out property for its sleek, contemporary design and stunning setting along a wide stretch of beach with views of the Andaman Sea. Since the hotel is well-removed from the town center and surrounded by lush grounds, most guests are seeking a quiet place to relax. There are still ample facilities to keep guests occupied, however, from the three impressive swimming pools and spa, to the water sports and dining venues. The contemporary design consists primarily of neutral tones, with lots of wood, open-air structures, and chic white-cushioned seating. There are numerous spots to lounge or walk among the lily ponds and palm trees. The resort is undergoing renovations to some areas -- certain room categories, the kids' club, and Rhu Restaurant -- but they're scheduled to be finished in 2017 and guests report that it doesn't disturb their stay. #createwithtrip
