Mae Kampong

To get to Mae Kampong, we had to hop on the back of a smaller vehicle that took us along a small road between forests and mountains. Soon, we reached the small village of just over 130 houses and 370 inhabitants, which has become a model for community tourism in Thailand. There are no big hotel chains here, but several homestays and pretty cafes have sprouted - we chose to enjoy coffee at one cafe with a lovely view of the village 😍
