Lake Wanaka

Lake Wanaka is the fourth largest lake in New Zealand, nestled at the foot of the Southern Alps and carved by glaciers. The most unique feature of Lake Wanaka is the Lone Willow in the lake, as shown in picture 10, which I took, while the last two pictures were taken by netizens. Its fame seems to surpass that of Lake Wanaka itself, being the most photographed tree in New Zealand. According to locals, this tree has survived for nearly a hundred years, standing alone in the middle of the lake, becoming an eternal part of the landscape.
