The stunning Sandu'ao, the beautiful scenery of Donglan and Pingtan

On April 9, 2023, the 27th and 28th days of the self-driving tour around China, from Ningde, Fujian to Sandu'ao Scenic Area to Tan Cheng Town, Pingtan, Fujian, 252 kilometers. A journey of mountains, water, wind, and rain, facing the sea, with the spring blossoming! Sandu'ao is located in the southeast of Ningde City, Fujian Province. There are many fishing boats here, the sea water is clear, and the scenery is very beautiful. You can take a boat from Sandu'ao Pier to Doumao Island opposite. There is a Aodoumu Scenic Area on the island, with a boat fare of 100 yuan and an entrance fee of 35 yuan, which I didn't go to. Looking around, it's joyful and intoxicating. Flying a drone, the scenery is even more pleasing to the eye. Pingtan Island, the largest island in Fujian Province, faces the Taiwan Strait to the east. Haitan Ancient City aims to showcase Minnan culture and Hakka culture. Not only does the ancient city have large-scale catering, Min-Tai snacks, temple fair snacks, but also a special tourist commodity street gathering exquisite goods from all sides. The entrance fee is free, but unfortunately, there are not many people playing. What's more frustrating is that the facilities in the hotel room where I stayed had problems and scratched my leg. Monkey Research Island (68 Nautical Mile Scenic Area) is only 68 nautical miles from Xinchu Nanliao Fishing Port in Taiwan, equivalent to 126 kilometers. Pingtan Monkey Research Mountain has built a 3-meter-high and 5-meter-wide monument marking the closest point between the mainland and Taiwan Island, with the big red characters 'Mainland China - Taiwan Island closest distance 68 nautical miles China • Pingtan' inscribed on it, and the positions of the two sides of the strait are carved. The entrance fee is 38 yuan. The island is battered by wind and waves all year round, with strange rocks and sparse vegetation. The whole Monkey Research Island, wherever you look, is all rocks. And these rocks are all different, each with its own characteristics. Two Shores United Window: A stamp made of granite is a popular spot on the island for taking photos, and it's hard to get in line to take pictures. Strait Eye: A new photo spot built last year, the white building on the seaside is very beautiful, implying 'a glance at ten thousand years'. It is recommended to take an electric car from the entrance to the innermost Xianshan Island, and then walk back after a round, the sightseeing car is 10 yuan one way. Xianshan Island is the most fun island with the most check-in points. Driving along the island road, you can reach Changjiang'ao Windmill Field. All the way, you can see the blue sea and the blue sky, and the refreshing sea breeze is blowing in your face. Each turn of the big windmill can generate one degree of electricity, and the blade is nearly 30 meters long, which is very large. The huge windmills are undulating, and you can't see the end at a glance. Next to it is the vast sea and the beautiful beach. Whether it's the morning sun or the evening sunset, it's all beautiful, and it's a great place for photography enthusiasts to take great photos. Pingtan Shipai Ocean, looking from a distance, there is a disc-shaped large reef, supporting two uneven sea erosion columns. The whole reef is like a big ship, and the two huge stones are like two bulging sails, as if they are breaking through the waves. Unfortunately, not many people see it, and the cruise ship is out of service. On Pingtan Island, the green sea surface, like silk, is soft and slightly rippling. From a high place, the sea is vast and boundless. Walking on the beach, the sea water is at your feet, whispering softly.
