Bromo Volcano stands at the top of the 'Lonely Planet'

I went to Indonesia for the National Day holiday, and the first stop was Bromo Volcano 🌋 We set off from Chengdu, flew directly to the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta ✈️, and then took a domestic flight from Jakarta to Surabaya. As we wanted to experience more of the local Indonesian culture, we took a train to a small town near Bromo Volcano, called Pasuruan, after arriving in Surabaya. I particularly liked the guesthouse we stayed at in Pasuruan, and Pasuruan is very quiet with few people, giving a feeling of being cut off from the world. The car to Bromo Volcano was booked directly at the guesthouse. I remember it was 650k Indonesian Rupiah per person (600k on weekdays, 650k on weekends), which is about 300 RMB. The guesthouse will arrange a minivan, departing at 2 am to a small town at the foot of Bromo Volcano, and then transfer to a jeep to enter the scenic area to overlook Bromo Volcano. It's about an hour's drive from the guesthouse to the viewing point. After watching the sunrise over the volcano, the jeep will take you to the volcano's mouth. This section of the road needs to be climbed up. The smell at the mouth of the volcano is very pungent, and you will feel it in your throat. Also, I personally think the road at the mouth of the volcano is quite narrow, so be careful. After coming down from the volcano's mouth, we returned to the guesthouse the same way. The time to return to the guesthouse is probably around 9 or 10 in the morning. Although the whole trip was tiring, it was totally worth it. Climbing the volcano in the dark to watch the sunrise was a moment of life. At the moment when the sun rose, when Bromo appeared from the night, everything was worth it ❤️
