Manlan Hotel in Lotus Town is located on the south side of the Dayuan Cultural Park in Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. Here, there are mountains, tea, books, and accommodations. There are green mountains and white fog that can be seen through the window, the poetic sense of time flowing leisurely, the Zen meaning of Buddha's rhyme, living here, closer to the mountains and forests in the heart, and living life into the ideal shape. Manlan Hotel is located in Lotus Town, which is a peaceful and elegant Zen temple. It does not choose to disappear in nature in fragments, but is placed on the water in a complete form, as if it grows from the mountains and pools, and is relatively independent of the surrounding environment but almost integrated. Design The hotel building uses two color tones of gray and wood, gray on the outside and wood on the inside, giving a simple and warm texture. The unique small green tile roof design retains the taste of the original Huizhou village. The designer specifically found bamboo lamps created by contemporary Taiwanese artists as embellishments, interpreting the flow of natural forces with bamboo materials, like wind, water, and birds soaring, also increasing the fit with the local natural environment. Room 16 guest rooms, different in nature, but inherited from the same vein, designed and built according to Huizhou culture and Buddhist thought, inheriting the consistent comfort of Manlan quality, and there are large balconies where you can look at the sky and daze, accompanied by mountains, and the fun of the mountains and wilds is everywhere. Such as Qiupu Residence is named after the ancient name of Chizhou, integrating Chizhou's historical culture into the design, extracting the bright color and shape of ginkgo leaves as the main color of the space, bright and cheerful like the unrestricted childhood in the countryside. Standing on the balcony, the mountains in the distance, longing in my heart, want to go over the mountains and explore and perceive. Food The holiday-style rattan chair dining table and other accessories are combined with the local traditional green brick wall, blending modern touch in the wood color and simplicity. The lotus lamp decoration is layered down, explaining the spatial characteristics, and also reflecting the designer's design thinking about the integration of Jiuhua Mountain's local cultural history and contemporary space design. Entertainment Culture The wooden pillars and beams of the Zen courtyard are taken from the camphor wood of the hundred-year-old houses in southern Anhui, naturally retaining the style of ancient residential buildings in southern Anhui. The small courtyard often holds Buddhist scripture lectures to solve doubts for the world, or holds tea ceremony, incense ceremony, flower art, etc., to promote cultural exchanges. The spacious and open ancient space, with elegant screens, futons, long tables, and wooden chairs, combined with the indoor faint sandalwood, the taste of the entire space is born and combined with the historical and cultural sense of Jiuhua for thousands of years.
