Shell Museum

The Shell Museum in Qinhuangdao is located in the Nandaihe Tourist Resort in the Beidaihe New District of Qinhuangdao City. It is a shell science museum that focuses on displaying shell specimens and integrates marine life exploration, shell research and collection, science education, and cultural tourism entertainment. The museum also serves as a health tourism destination. The museum houses over 40,000 exhibits, with collections from the world's major oceans, rivers, lakes, and terrestrial mountains and rivers, including ancient ammonite fossils (prehistoric mollusk cephalopods) and large mollusk cephalopod specimens.
